my shaw basic digital home phone will not block calls. unless you upgrade another $20 per month to get a better phone system you can not block all the crap calls. so the big draw of digital phone for cheap is bull crap! if you want to block...tough beans...you have to pay for privacy.

This GT Group is a subsidiary of Bell Canada. I called them and they said it sounds like a computer generated autodialer.

They could not provide the information required to fix it but suggested it be reported to the Police as an abuse issue. There is a department which deals in this area and can request the private info on the calling company and make it stop.

I just got two calls within a half hour and both were hang ups. I called Operator who advises to press *57 after a hang up call comes in. It records the number and informs MTS Security about the call. If they receive enough *57 calls at security they look into it.

Operator also advised me to contact police non emergency and advise them of the situation.

I called back twice to the number and received an unanswered call. I called back a third time and busy signal, I gather they blocked my number, so I picked up my cell *67 and the number so it shows private name/private number on their end and low and behold I get ringing unanswered. So odviously they blocked my home number.

In case anyone needs to know, document the date adn time of each call and once you have ten of them you can go to the police. Just got off the phone with them.

Same goes here. Its been 5 days now and within 5 mintues of 5:30pm every weekday. I try calling back but no one answers. I would love to get my hands on this person.... and their phone

i have been getting phone calls   for  5 times  over 1 week and when answered they hang  up.  since  January 29th  2 times  January 30th 1 times  January  31st  1 time  and  today February 1 st  1 time.

same as everyone else, i even called that number twenty times with no respondence.

this number just called me and hung up..I have Shaw, just dialed *57 after reading this, and may call non-emergency police too

Found the company...ECOLINE Replacement Windows & Doors. Phone 272-5750. Located at 201 Portage, suite 1800.  I called them & told them about everyone complaining about their calls.  We'll see if they actually do anything about it!
They confirmed they were the ones calling.

Not sure if I already used this site, but the problem is unknown caller 204-272-2935 calls every day recently and hangs up.  When I call number back, it rings and then there is a busy signal.  Want to know if this is a personal phone number or telemarketing.  Most annoying and would like to know if it is just a prank call or someone who is very sick and knows me and just wants to know if I am home.  Will read my display before answering in future, as it is too costly to block phone numbers.  Do not feel that it is telemarketing as I am not on the "do not call list" and don't want to be as of now.  Telemarketing has always been polite to me and do not think this recent annoying hang-up calls are from them.  Will keep my cool here and will not allow this to upset me anymore and accept it and perhaps this person will get a life.

same with me..... except it's 204-272-4600...  It's an auto dial so you have to wait for 'them' to talk to you.  I just call blocked them as well.  At least twice a day they ring us.

Yes, I , too, have received at least 12 'hang-up' calls from this 204-272-2935 number in 10 days. NOW, we are getting PRIVATE CALLER calls.!!

Same thing - nuisance caller hangs up on my machine (I screen calls through my machine).  Did *69 and got the number, called back, and nobody answered.  Will soon subscribe to call block - I'm so sick of these hangup calls!

This number has called 2 per day for 3 days and just hangs up when we answer ????? App' same time each day...........

Well we've been getting these too...same # and we are with Shaw.

We are with Shaw and have also been getting calls from this number.

with shaw, got calls from this number over the last few days, but now im gonna call block it , its a free feature of shaw res. phone
