Git a call from these people today, not sure where they got their numbers from but they were pretty accurate. They claimed they were a collection agency and they were inquiring about a loan I had and why I stopped paying in 2006, I told them because I finished paying for it, they said  not according to there records. (this is 8 years later) I hung up. but the numbers they were giving me were pretty accurate, go ahead take me to court, I still have the release papers

Same as many here, she was an East Indian accent, claiming to be from some computer place..couldn't understand. She got very demanding that I urgently turn on my computer. I told her she was a hack. She sounded mad asking loudly why I thought she was a hack, she was trying to help me from hackers! I said Ya, right...don't call me again. hung up. entered number and ended up here. too funny...

Calls every hour and I never answer..when I call back its just busy.

They call me every hour on the hour..I never answer and when I call back it is always busy. So annoying.

Said he was from 'Windows E-Solutions'. He claimed my computer had spyware and malware and that his office server received notification of this. He didn't seem to technically proficient and couldn't answer why his server would be aware of anything local to me...

After a few minutes he just seemed to walk away from the phone and I could hear loud talking in the background.

Lady called from 204-272-9462 and asked if I wanted to be "Redeemed", I asked her who was calling & she hung up.

Indian male called me from a very noisy room. Told me that for two weeks my computer has been infected with viruses. I asked him where he was calling from and he could barely prounce mississauga but then he added Ottawa lol yes mam Mississauga Ottawa lol
He told me to turn on my computer etc. I kept asking him where he worked sounded like he made a business up on the spot. After a few more seconds of playing around I hung up.

Called a few minutes ago, tried to convince us someone was trying to access our computer... He just didn't mention it was him. Ignored him until he hung up then tried calling back the number, no pickup or dial tone. Going to try to find another way to report this number locally.

sept.03. 2013. Just called claiming to be with Microsoft and claim that  reports have been recorded that everytime we use the pc its receiving viruses trying to block our pc from working. I continued to ask them to name my provided and services I have with that provider. All he did was repeat his speech.. lol.

Just got the same call, but claimed to be from Windows Technical Department. Asked to speak to supervisor, so another foreign sounding voice came on to 'assure' me they were legitimate. Stated I had spyware and malware stuff downloaded into the computer from e-mails and browsing internet. Meanwhile, my virus/spyware/malware protection is telling me everything is just fine. Told them I didn't/couldn't trust they were who they said they were (first call was unknown; 2nd was 204-272-9462) and wouldn't give me a number at which to call them back. Mark stated they were calling from New York, Albany. Asked how they got my number, said it was through my computer ID. Said it was computer Licence security gave them my number. Hung up on them and decided to check the number. Thanks to everyone for confirming my gut feeling. Call Type needs to have SCAM as a choice!

This number called me trying to get my credit card number with shipping and handling charges. They try to say it is a reward for having credit cards. when you ask which credit card company its for they say anyone. They offer you 100 gas card from Petro Canada and some other stuff I could not understand due to the heavy accent the female had! Watch out for this number!! You can not call it back. Do not give this number information.

Anyways, the reason for this call, the Bank of India is involved with this bull crap.
Refunding money to people that knew they were scammed the first time. Now calling to get you to open your computer while being online, fill out a form so they can replace it electronically:/!!
Canada is removing their license the company being"PC CER?.. Something like that. Based and calling out from India from 204-272-9462..
I led him on to get more info from him and he started getting frustrated with me and being very aggressive.
He thought I would give out my husbands info (without his permission) and not even my husband, my roommate, (the caller didn't know that). Anyways, I guess he thought I was an idiot and all I can say is, I gave this very much related personal opinion and expressed myself in a manner in which women from his culture would never do.. this number calls me constantly.. telling me to pay my credit card bill.. I don't havea  credit card
the number you cannot call back either... they claimed to be from the redemption center in montreal. needless to say, I called them. They are a religious sector in montreal and do not place spam calls. I wish I could catch this wench

Their at it again... got a call from a Chinese guy claiming that a problem was detected with my Microsoft... how do they know my computer has a problem and how would they know my home phone  #.. so just hang up and report it...

I forgot to mention that he was also claiming that he was calling from Microsoft Windows support center. These people just don't give up so just be careful everyone.

Had someone phone me from the 204-272-9462 number who said my computer was infected. He asked if I was the owner and I told him to never f---ing  call this number again then he went on a profanity tirade calling me a mother f---er ,. I told him to get a real job where he wouldn't be scamming people. The guy had an accent that sounded east indian but I'm not sure. I've had these calls before where they tell you your computer is infected, then they try to get computer info and try overtaking your computer to get at your personal info. I hope these scammers get caught and I sure hope nobody falls for their scams.

Received call on June 4/13. Same as previously reported. "Redemption centre for Visa, MC, etc. Sending me $100 in Petro Canada vouchers, tickets to Las Vegas - only need s/h fees of $1.99. Told them I wasn't interested and she really didn't respond. Then I hung up. Only answered it because I thought it was a work call for a family member.

It sure is.  I fell for it and after i had to take my computer to a guy to clean it out.  A year later they called saying that they were giving me my money back because the company went bankrupt.  He wanted my credit card number so he could reimburse me.  The screen was very small that he make me look at, It was supposed to be my credit application.  I used a magnifying glass so i could see what he was doing.  I kept giving him an inactive credit card number and i was watching him try and make a deposit to India.  He was getting very upset that the card would not work.  I told him off and yet they still call me with the same bull s***.

I got a call from this number, the guy said he was from the redemption center for Visa.  Said for $3.90 or something like that, I would get a $100 gas card to Petro Canada, 50% off travel with Expedia, West Jet and someone else.  Also something about Walmart.  He said there was no obligation.  When i asked who the credit card company is that is issuing this, he said "Visa" because i am a loyal customer.  Said i didn't have to pay the $3 something with Visa, I could use American Express too. I told him i didn't have my credit card with me and now he keeps calling my cell phone every few minutes.

called me today said they were from visa mastercard  services said she was the supervisor very loud in background came as a local area code number told her not interested in her scam

Would also like to add that the 1-800 number I was given (1-800-944-8424) is for saverscity.ca, and I have no idea what the hell that it. and the other one is for holidaysavers.ca (1-800-944-8210)

Talking about Card Services and how I will get some Petro Gas Cards and 2 Airline tickets because I'm a valued customer. All I had to do was charger $1.95 to my card. Yeah uh huh...told them I don't have one handy and to call me back tomorrow.

That being said, I will have lots of fun stuff to tell them tomorrow.

It's a scammer

It's a computer scam. I like to screw around with them. They say you computer showed up with errors and viruses. I ask them how the know and thy day cause of the serial number. Then I tell them alright just to verify read it out to me while I compare it to mine. They just hang up. Stupid foreign people can barly speak English and they wanna try and scam me haha

Get exactlythe same thing. Almost every day. Then a female voice says, Thank you. And hangs up. Got the busy signal as well.

Received a call from this number saying they were a redemption center,and was told I had won $100.00 in a gift certificate for Petro Canada and two airline tickets for using my credit card. All they needed was $1.99 . I told them if I was talking to a redemption center for my credit card they did not need any money to send me my ticket and they were scammers. This person said she was from Montreal (she sounded French Canadian) which did not make sense as the are code is Manitoba. Scammers. I am calling MTS my phone company and will demand an explanation as to how and why they can do this. I will also call The Crtc and complain. Where is our protection from this kind of scam. Bloody leaches on society.

This number called me claiming i use my debit so much I'm entitled to free gas and airplane tickets. kiss this.

Call constantly and hang up as soon as you answer.
