in new jersey call then hang up get all kinds of calls daily from US mostly hang-ups on answering machine ,, if no one speaks I don't bother moving to answer

When I answer from this number all I hear is music as if I was already on hold????I'm on Vancouver Island??

Calls every day at 8 AM without fail, Manitoba number, Im in alberta. First few calls was an automated 'This is important but no one is here to talk to you please hold". Few days later, get a guy named 'peter harrison" asking for a family member and getting snippy when I said that said family member wasn't available. Asked what the call was for and he replied, In short "Business' and hung up.
