This number has called my home every day for the last two weeks.  When we do answer, they never answer.  I thought perhaps this was a telemarketing auto-dialer, but even if I wait for them to come on the line, they just hang up on me.  Rude, rude, rude.  Whoever is running this gong show needs to be sacked, even if they are a volunteer.

I just got called by that #. It's getting that I don't pick up any calls now if I don't know the #, if it's important they can leave a message and I'll call back, obviously it's not important....they never leave a message. It's so sad how our world is changing and we can't trust anyone....they say it's for charity but is it? I work too hard for my money to give it away so everyone get's a no, I can't afford it financially and I won't play the game.

When are you people who keep using the "I'm on the Canadian Do Not Call" excuse going to listen.  

Charities are exempted from the do not call ... read the flippin fine print.  You will also find there are other groups also exempted from the do not call.

Now that the bloody politicians are using robo-dailing for this election, thats all we're getting... guess what, policital campianing is also exempt.

The do not call list is useless as it does not stop the calls you want to stop.

Have never been called by this particular one before , but whenever any charity calls and I say no they insist and as much as I wish I could donate ... I can't afford it ! Wonder if they get a commission with how much they try to talk you into it..

Got this call this morning from this number.. I registered on the Canadian Do Not Call list, but that does not seem to deter them.

easy answer for these calls is to ask them to hold for a minute, then set the phone down till you hear the beep, beep, beep   meaning they got the message and hung up

Got a call from {204}-480-4503 this morning {Oct. 1st. The man on the phone said he was from the Can. council for the blind, and they were collecting for,, etc, etc, when I told him I was sorry, but, I already donate to 4 0r 5 charities, a couple in my own area, and that I wasn't interested in donating to his cause, he just kept on with his "speal", and didn't even appear to hear what I was saying ! ....finally I said "I am sorry Sir, but I am not interested", and when he still kept on talking as if not hearing, I hung up the phone. It is bad enough that we get these calls at all, but when they don't respect your decision, it BUGS me to bits .. Where is the "class?"& the respect for oUR rights?

When I called the # back I got a recording saying they were the Canadian Council for the Blind. Callers were directed to "customer service" at 1-800-525-9418 9am-9pm EST.
