I too got a call from same number, but they asked for my 4 year daughter and when i repeated my daughter's name the caller said oh, "so sorry" and hung up!...try calling back, but sounds busy

Called at least 5 times a week. I finally spoke with someone and asked to be removed and they said could not do that. I switched my phone company to one that allows me to block calls for free. Now my phone does not ring when they try to call. Maybe this will help everyone. The company name is Flexnet VoIP www.flexnetvoip.com

Call Mike (Sales Manager for Western Canada, located in BC) @ 604-636-8003 and have him purge your number from their list. That is what I did today, hopefully it will work.
He said he is going to speak with the Manitoba sales offices (apparently there are two of them) and find out what is going on.

Had five calls today. Took calls, I said nothing and just listened to see if someone would talk. No one did. No background noise just silence except that towards the end of one call I could hear a recorded voice say "goodbye". Calls started today 4 May. Just one thing to mention, immediately before the first of these calls there was an 0845 296??? number called which did not leave a message. Did this happen to anyone else ?

This is a number from a sales office trying to sell magazines in your areas. I phoned them to see why they wouldn't answer - they said that they have a new system with glitches. I told them that I wasn't interested and was informed that they would remove my number from their call list.
