I have tried for the past couple of days to file a complaint online with the FTC about the dozens of phone numbers I have accumulated.  Do you know that the FTC website is "busy and can't take our request"???  Well, why am I surprised?  Our government is busy, too.  USA government - we are too busy to help.  Uh oh.  Homeland Security will be knocking at my door any second now.

Well finally Austin, Texas, is trying to do something about:

It was on the KXAN news station this evening telling folks to get themselves on the "Do Not Call" list and report this number as a telemarketer to the Government.

Some people think this is just a way for this telemarketing service (1-800-632-0488) to, if you answer your phone, verify your phone no. and then sell it to other scammers!

Started about a month ago.  The calls are all day and night long.  It's driving me nuts! If you answer, they hang up. if you call back, it's busy. If you don't answer, it rolls to my voice mail and they hang up.

So, I've set a "special" ringtone on my cell phone and when it goes off, I just ignore it.

I've called the cell company and they said they cannot block a number for me, that I should just report it.

I have been on these lists before, but now I'm on the national do-not-call list.  I will file a complaint and see if I can block this number.  I recommend all of you do the same.

Ok...so just got a call from this number and it was the Global RX online thing most people have mentioned on here.

The problem is that I have ordered prescriptions online before and had just submitted a refill yesterday....... argh

So I thought the call was legit at first and asked for the name of the company again and I knew it wasn't the site i normally get my pills from. She said it could be an affiliate that I buy through.

I then proceeded to ask her if she had my email...what prescriptions I order and what she said all they had was my name, number, and address (how scary is that)

I then told her I wasn't comfortable with the whole thing and told I was going hang up, she said she understood, then I said goodbye.

I called the company I buy my pills from and asked if these people were legit and she said hell no, everything they do is confidential.

If anyone has any idea how to stop this...please post it soon!! Thanks

This number called me and I called back the line is always busy because I want to know what is this number and why are they calling me?

I had the same complaint as everyone else.  So I did file with the do not call registry.  I was able to register the complaint using the name that someone else mentioned RX Global Online.

this number has been calling me at least once a week. don't apreciate at all. its a drug company trying to sell. stop calling, i'm not interested!!!

A computer called; when I answered there was a moment of silence as it switched to a real person SO TO SPEAK. He said they were from RX Global and wanted to REFILL MY PERSCRIPTIONS.  I told him that I had asked that they STOP calling me, he said so you’re telling me you don’t use your prescriptions any more? I said a few things that I can not repeat here but told him it was none of his business and to stop calling. He said they would not and he wanted to tell me about their good deals. I hung up.

Don't get pissed people...  play game with them.  Tell them to call you back and use the soundboard on Ebaumsworld and have fun with it.
They called me, I answer and request them to call me at around 9pm..  Which they did..  and guess what...  I have so much fun with it...  and best of all is FREE of charge...  Unlimited Night and weekend

I just got a call from there too. I googled the number cause they said that they were calling me to refill my online drugs that I have ordered before. I have never ordered from any company before.

have received a call several times over the past two weeks from this number.  i answered it once and there was no response.  now i let it go to voicemail and they do not leave a message.

We are getting calls from this number every night, and the worse thing is, they don't call until 11:30pm and later.  I'm tired of being woke up in the middle of the night for these calls,,I lie there saying hello, waiting for a reply, and then after a minute the call is dropped.  First it was annoying, but now I am really getting pissed.   I want them stopped and I want them stopped now.  I just had another one from them at 11:42pm, the next one will be after 12:00am.  This is ridiculous.

I started getting calls on my cell phone from this number in the last few weeks...at least 2 times a day ranging from as early as 8:00 a.m. and as late as 10:00 p.m. (CST).  At first, I didn't answer, but then decided I would go ahead and answer so that it would show up on my phone records as proof should I find some way to file a serious complaint against these folks!  Last night, someone finally responded when I answered the phone!  She said she was from some online drug company (Global RX), and was calling me about my prescription that was due to be refilled...even calling me by my name ("Good evening _________ __________.").  I advised her that I NEVER ordered any prescriptions online or over the phone, that they have been harassing me with several phone calls a day, and I wanted my name and number off of their list IMMEDIATELY, as I am on the "Do Not Call" list for telemarketers, and have already looked them up by their number and reported them (which I had).  Looking at the Global RX web site this morning, it appears that the folks calling from this number are a scam, as the REAL Global RX has the following notation on their web site: "GLOBALRx is NOT an internet pharmacy and does not participate in any on-line prescribing programs."  If they call again, I will be reporting them to my local State Attorney General, and I advise all of you to do the same!

I have gotten this number calling me lately too.  What is the deal?  ARGH!

Have received this call a couple times,What I do is the same I do with all the telemarketer calls, I pick up the receiver and let them listen to the tv until THEY hangup. NEVER, say anything and they usually get the hint.

I continue to get calls from this number every evening, I am extremely fed up with them and I'm ready to take some action now. *very angry*

Keep Receiving Calls from 800-632-0488 and when I answer no one is on the line.  This number calls my cell phone several times each day

Just got a call from this number - I called back and got a auto answer for "RX Global Online" - of course all the agents were busy, but they would be happy to take my name and number and get back to me. )h and definitely Indian - slurpees, not casinos.

got a missed call on my cell, no message left, I called back and got a recorded message saying "this mail box is full" then it disconnected

Got a call from this number yesterday afternoon and this afternoon. It only rang a few times and then they hung up. I didn't try to call back. So annoying.

This number has called me 4 times in the last 3 days. I just got fed up, blocked my number and called them back. A woman answered and said it was "global online" something. How do they have my number. This has to be an invasion of privacy.

they keep calling my cell too! 2-3 times a day for the past 3 weeks. im on the dont call list, what else needs to be done for this to stop.

You can't block these calls.  I've tried.  Why have call blocking when it won't block the calls you don't want?  Oh, the phone company says there is another option.  You can put a call trace on these calls.  BUT, you have to answer first, then immediately hang up, and then dial some code like #67 or something.  After you've put a trace on it three times, the phone company will investigate, but will charge you for it.  They least they charge is seven bucks.  With all the toll free numbers that call me, and because they are not able to to be blocked ("we are sorry, that number cannot be blocked"), why pay for call blocking, then turn around and have to pay the phone company to research it?  What a total rip off and I am beginning to blame the phone companies for this fiasco.

They keep calling me too. I'm never home to answer it, but I get a 3 second voicemail with no message.
I confess I did order some mail order prescriptions a while back. Before they would call several times a day. I would always ask to be taken off the list and never did. I hate to say it and I don't feel this way, but after repeated begging to be taken off the list I got the idea of saying racial slurs. The guy got REALLY pissed and I just kept going waiting for him to hang up. After long enough he did and I didn't get a call for a couple years. Now these no message things started again a month or 2 ago.
