I get a call every three days, so regularly, I an practically mark my calendar ahead of time. Everyt three days, even if that third day falls on a Sunday, I get a call from "Smith G Hampton Trey Atty" (as shown on Caller ID). What legitimate attorney calls someone "after hours"? What legitimate attorney calls about a debt that is so far beyond the statute of limitations, it's not collectible? What legitimate attorney uses robo-dialers and automated messages in an attempt to intimidate me into contacting them so they can collect said debt?

I'm not disputing this is an OLD debt if mine and if I had been able to pay it at the time, it would have been paid. Nothing has improved for me financially, so I still can't pay it and it's so old now, it's not worth the effort.

Every 3 days, I get a call from this number. Not sure if it's to my cell or home number, since during the day, I forward all home phone calls to my cell. The Caller I.D. says "Smith G Hampton Trey, Attorney". Before I started blocking the call, I've had voice mail messages left, identifying them as a debt collector. The call is a recording and the voice on it sounds like it was left by Shaniqua Jones from the 'hood. I have not had a credit card in more than 6 years, since declaring bankruptcy in 2006, so anything they're trying to collect on is either (a) discharged, or (b) outside the statute of limitations for my state.

I have no received any letters from this place, so I have NO idea what account they're calling about, since I'm not about to engage in any direct communications with these lowlifes.

Piece of s h it  collection agency wannabe law firm in Birmingham, Alabama.  Can't get real law cases or real jobs, so they just harass people and lie to them to try and scare them into giving up their money.  If they call you tell them to go to hell, don't give  them any information and don't let them harass you or scare you. There's nothing they can do to you.  Get a coaches whistle or an air horn and blast their eardrums every time they call your number.

This company is a CON.  They try to harass and SCAM people for money.  DO NOT PAY the debt collector doesn't matter what they say, you will lose your money and your debt will always be there.  Continue to REPORT them to all the Government Agencies (FTS, State Attorney General, Police Dept, BBB, etc.).  DO NOT CALL them back, DO NOT be polite to them, and don't forget to give them a piece of you mind if you answer them.

This is some attorny office in alabama. Not sure what they wanted but i know it is a lawyer office of some kind. answer machine left a message but it was a recording saying if you are so and so call back but it bleep out the name of machine.

This is a law firm in Birmingham AL who gets old debts and then calls and tries to collect them. Usually working for Colonial Bank or PriMed Health

It is a Birmingham law office that does collections.  I never had a message and there was never a person on the line.  One of the posts had a number to call.  I called and the lady said that they were trying to reach someone other than me that had given them the number.  They removed it from their database.  The number to call is 205 250 8437

I receive countless calls from this number.  I've called them back, but they won't admit who / what they are.  I set up my fax machine to call them back round the clock in retaliation.

This is a collections agency.  They were searching for my ex-husband -- we've been divorced for 20 years!  Call them at 205-250-8437 and get an explanation.  They were extremely polite and agreed to remove my number from their database.

They call several times a day, all calls are automated, so I have no way of telling 'them' they are calling the wrong number.  I don't know how to stop the calls.

Leave a message that says they are calling for(then silence).  Then say if you are not(silence)do not listen to message.  Then the message says that if you listen to the message you are acknowledging that you are(silence). They never say anyone's name.  Called the number back one time and the first thing they asked for was social security number!! Not about to do that!!!  This is very irritating.  They call 2 or 3 times a day.
They also say they are trying to collect a debt owed by (silence).

It's a collection agency, they told me calling in reference to Capital One Bank where my number was registered with a past due account, but i have no past due account and no Capital One accounts, unfortunately they failed to comprehend that and continue to call.
