Caller attempted to collect personally identifiable information by using vulgar language and scare tactics, very scripted. SCAM. LMAO!!!

This is a complete scam. No one is serving u anything. Those people r sitting at a desk trying to reach there goal and up the balance so they can bonus!!!! U do not go to jail for debt.

Just for the record any caller saying you wrote a hot check for a Payday is trying to get you to comply and pay the check. There is no hot checks for payday loans. The most they can do is sue. It is a civil matter. Record the calls and voicemails and you will probably get a reverse judgement.

OMG I got a call from that Mrs. Banks too. And B!tch called my soon-to-be ex mother in law, her dad and was looking for her dead mother, my soon to be ex father in law, and then told them I owe $500 and that I am going to jail for writing bad check. They just violated the FDCA since debt collectors are not suppose to say that you owe money to other people other than your lawyer or you. And I called them and told them to call my lawyer and a$sh0les wont take the information.

My husband recieved a call on his cell, trying to reach me, very vague and made no sense. Gave a case number, said I was being sued for a hot check, trying to avoid issuing a warrant or something. My husband said he tried to make himself sound like he was with the police.

The address he gave for me is over 3 years old and we have never bounced a check. All I can get is a message line and I am NOT leaving this joker any info.

I did receive a call from these people.  They were professional and more than willing to answer any questions I had.  I did right a bad check for the repayment of a payday loan.  They were willing to work with me and the account was paid off.  I also received a final paid letter.  Don't know what everyone is bitching about

SHILL- It's the old "Oh, they were so nice, & worked with me" BS. No mention of any paperwork received. No mention of IF the debt was real. Caller uses threats of jail, so we know it's fake. (CANNOT be sent to jail for a debt - civil/not criminal)

these people contacted me yesterday about a payday loan that I had.  Was able to work out payment plan to get this matter taken care of.  I don't know what these other people are talking about but they were nice to me andwill pay it off by July

Had a payday loan that I defaulted on.  Received a call from theses people.  Was able to make an arrangement to pay the loan back.  Very easy to deal with.  No complaints

This guy is insane. I try to call a mrs. Banks back & get him. He is very abusive & i reported them to police. I think its a scam.

RECEIVED SEVERAL CALLS FROM THIS RUDE MONKEY NAME MR SHAPIRO SAYING THAT HE IS GOING TO FILE CHARGES ON ME FOR A HOT CHECK/PAYDAY LOAN, I ASKED HIM WHO DID I WRITE THE HOT CHECK TO. HE STARTED SCREAMING BEENING VERY RUDE THEN HUND UP THE PHONE.

My husband got a call as well and was told he would be fined 2,000 and 2 years of jail.  Not only are they calling him but also people we don't even know personally maybe possibly met them once we only know this because they are friends of our family members they are thier friends not ours.  Its really rude. I am going to contact the police because its sounding like stalking to me.

They are just trying to collect on a loan she took out. They contacted my family as well. I have had a rough couple of years. Finally starting to get back on my feet again. They are nice to work with. After this month I will be done with all collection calls!!1

So you take out a payday loan that you do not intend to payback? A loan is defined as;  A thing that is borrowed, esp. a sum of money that is expected to be paid back with interest.

I made arrangements to repay my payday loan, monthly and these calls stopped. Last loan repayment is next week. After 2 years putting this off I finally don't have to worry about people calling me.

They were pretty nice compared to the other collectors I dealt with before.

strictly an attempt to collect a debt.... usually this is with payday loan companies....which is civil, won't hold up in a court of law... just a bad debt that they are making a desperate attempt to collect by intimidating people with the "bad/hot check" issue....

so you harass the hell out of them by using these "scare tactics" to make them pay up??  shouldn't they just continue to contact the individual by mail with collection letters?? either way, it isn't criminal to have debt...strictly civil... and doing what they do doesn't hold up in a court of law...

I received the same call from the same f**king idiots at this number (877-333-2803) saying the same thing about a "hot check" that was written and they want you to call this number before they take further action... this is just an attempt, (desperate attempt) to collect for a loan/debt... nothing more.. they can't do anything else but this... otherwise, it would have been done long long ago...they say they are there local but these idiots have you call somewhere for this information...this is just another desperate attempt to collect this loan from those payday loans...

Usually, these calls are regarding "bounced checks" from a payday loan that was taken out.... some people tend to forget that they took out these types of loans. While others down right have no concern to payback the loan that was taken out.

I just got a call from a private investigator, that is working for a client that says they have a bad check that my daughter wrote, and to call this # 877-333-2803.

i got a call yesterday from the date i posted this that i owe some payday loan advance some money and if i dont pay ill go to jail some check fraud or post dated check wich i never even signed for and basically broke it down pay now, 2 installmensts, or 3 instalments and that i am a F&*$in lier and all wow major aggressive

keep getting calls from a Mr. Shapiro saying he will serve me and there will be an additional $500 fine and possible jail time - I have no idea what he is talking about.  Anyone else had similar issues?
