This number calls my elderly mother's number constantly and as late as 10:00p.m. We have her number on the national "Do Not Call List" and that hasn't stopped it. When my husband or I answer the person gets very ugly and demands to speak with my mother. My husband has reported it to the authorities as harassing communications, but it hasn't stopped the calls either. How in the heck do you make this crap stop? Why is it that whoever this idiot is he has more right to pester my family than we have the right to our privacy? Why can't this be stopped? Our government is obviously powerless about this as well as numerous other current issues. I am tired of being harassed in my own home over a telephone that I pay to have in my home! Where are my rights!

Interesting that when I answer they hag up,but when my elderly Mother answers they talk and it is always to solicit money!!I have asked them to not call but they continue!! They call as late as 9pm

Probably a shady debt collector. Your first tip-off is claiming to be from the Alabama Sheriffs Department.  All Sheriffs in Alabama and most other states operate at the County level and would identify themselves as a County not State Sheriff if they were calling.  Your second is the 1-800 callback number. A real Sheriff would have given a local office number.

I just received a call from 205-313-6750. The caller identified himself as "Jay Kelly" with the Alabama Sheriffs Department. I told him the person he was asking for was not home. He then pried for when the person would be at home. I said all I could do was take a number. My caller ID showed the 313 number, but Jay Kelly gave me 1-800-557-1454 ext.310 as a callback number. I googled the number and it is listed as being owned by     "Windstream Communications", an internet and communications business in Arkansas that has over 600 reports on file with the BBB of fraud.

I gotten a call at at 3:11pm from Switzerland air on a area code 2055926662
And they told me that I owe money for tickets that was purchased back in january.And in Birmingham
We do not have such airline. They called me for the second time saying I won too free tickets too switzerland. I stop answering these calls they have calling me since three days in a roll around midnight.

I just gotten a call from the number 2053136750 and it is an answer machine recording. I hang up then they called back every hour so did not pick up the phone. I'm tired of the harrasment. But the way they are calling I thing its more than that. These are people trying to find out if that person is not home. Too many break and wintering around my neighborhood. I suggest everyone to cautious.

9-12-12 call from JC Chrit assoc. a very important message, call #866-245-5344 saying-a debt collector. in the eve a hang up, few min later a call-male voice-scratchy sound, noise and talking in back ground then hung up. I *69 for # 205-313-6750
