My husband received two text messages from this number 205 4426837 one on Sep 4th and another one on Sep 14th and one of them said Hi! and the other one said Hey! That is totally weird some of you know where can we report this number as a disturbing PofS. Thanks in advance.

Sent "hi"--def didn't respond. Googled it instead

Ok, so i was not so smart with this. I got a text saying hi, i replied asking who this is, the answer was heather followed by another text asking if i was a guy, i replied i am gay, then followed a string of 20-30 texts asking am i a guy, didnt respond, then followed a string of f*** you texts, didnt replay, then followed a string of f*** you b***** texts, didnt reply, anyone know how to find out who this is or where to report this number???

that is weird just got a bunch very similar texts

the same exact thing happened to me. it was strings of 20 texts asking me if i was a guy, then another 20 asking if i was single, and another  string of f*** you texts. i didnt respond either and eventually it stopped, the number was 025-442-6837. i thought it was some nutcase who was messing with me, until i saw this thread, and its pretty clear this more organized and nefarious. i hope someone gets to the bottom of who is doing this

I just got a text from this number saying "Hi". Obviously, I'm not gonna reply. But I hope something can be done to this number.

Twice now I have received txt messages from this number from a girl claiming to be "Amber".  First time I carried on a txt conversation with them thinking it was an Amber I actually knew.

Received a message "want to see my P****" I think this is a prostitute or some cops.

I just got one too! They said: Hi. I asked who it was they said: Stephanie. I said Stephanie who. They asked me if I was a guy and what my name was. I replied why do you want to know? And they texted me about 25 times asking what my name was. I also don't know anyone in Alabama

I too got a text from this number...Won't stop texting me.  Annoying

texting non stop from 205-442-6837 and 205-540-3083

same thing here but said their name was Stephanie.. now they are spamming me with text.  Also got a text from different # saying it was their friend..

got a txt that said "hi"..googled instead of responding. def did not respond.

Just got a text from this number too. Asked me if i was single and said no. they will not stop texting me!

It was the same for me and they were trying to mess with me but i had a fun time messing with them... seems like a waste of time too but it was funny... my friends and i had a blast.

Yeah, I just got one too.  I was a bit curious because I'm from Alabama, but in Ohio, with an Ohio number.  Thought it might have been someone I forgot to add to the phonebook  hehehe   I got the same "Hey!" text, and responded with "Hey Yeah!"  but haven't received anything else so far.  But it's certainly spammers.

I received a text message from this number saying: hi. I responded asking who it was. They said Heather Long. I asked if I knew them and they texted: Are you a guy? I asked why they wanted to know and how they got my number and they texted: Bye!

Very strange, don't think I know anyone in Alabama....
