I keep ringers off b/c telemarketers. Thanks for letting me know this is a scam. I see this # every day.

They have been calling me once or twice a day for the past six weeks. Today they called me three times in the space of 10 minutes. Now I just lay the phone down until the spiel plays out on the theory that they cannot call anyone else on that line for a couple of minutes.

Have received 6 calls from this company in a weeks time. It is very annoying to answer the phone and have a robot talking to you. What good does the DO NOT CALL REGISTER do if it doesn't work!!

They called AGAIN! I told him that they could deliver it and I'm sure they wouldn't mind the sheriff and attorney general being here when they arrived. He came UNGLUED and started screaming at me, including one very angry "go **** yourself" . . . Great salesmanship ;)

This number keeps calling my house several times a day, as I see it on my caller ID. Today the idiot would not speak just sat there breathing. Thank you previous posters, for letting me know it is a SCAM OPERATION!!

Keep getting a call saying he is with the "shipping department" for medical alert equipment. My phone company has call blocking, so that is what I finally did.

Ditto for all above.

This particular scam has been reported on by our local news. They are targeting the elderly with the promise of a free medical alert device but neglect to tell people that it will cost a bloody fortune to have it monitored. They seem to be relentless!
Cindi 2013-07-09 00:29:39 Unknown
Same deal - keeps calling my elderly father. I live with Dad and try to catch the call, but gets it before I do. If I ever do catch it, I'd like to go ahead and tell them to deliver it, but then mention I'm sure they won't care if the sheriff and the attorney general are here when they do

Havae received literally dozens of calls from theis number- I don't answer- they don't leave a messasge. It is part of life to live among a few bottom feeders!

I am sick of this number calling to harrass me over something I have no knowledge of. Being on the Do Not Call Register doesn't seem to help!!!
RCP 2013-07-06 23:02:51 Unknown
Calls every day, some times it is recorded, in recent days call and no one answers.
If you wait, tape recording starts for sale of Medical alert system.
We just hang up. I feel that with the recording, some one is on line too. Its a scam.
Location of land line for this number seems to be in Alabama, Rhett Ave SW. Huntsville, AL

Another call from this number. Did not answer because it was user unknown and I knew it was a scam or phishing expedition!

Blame the Washington Taliban 2013-07-03 19:40:41 Unknown
I got a call from 1-205-536-9222 on July 3, 3013. Did not talk to anyone. For those who say the DNC does no good, there is a reason. The Washington Taliban allows "direct mailing" list to be sold...for MONEY, of course. That gives the Taliban a cut too. They allow this as they allow insurance companies to pester you with medicare supplement policies. And The SS administration, I have been told by the Utah State Insurance Commission, is "perfectly legal" in giving out your information so you can be pestered. I see no valid reason for a consumer to call a state insurance commission. They are worthless in my opinion, except as promoters of insurance scams. Have you noticed you don't get a policy now until you're already paid a premium!! Then, you may find you are getting almost nothing in return. Who, other than the Taliban would allow this. Blame the Washingto Taliban for these calls. As they give away another 7 Billion dollars, enough to stretch 26 times around the earth, and as jobs continue to be lost, they need every penny you have. One way of getting it is these nusiance calls and the huge increase in "ask your doctor' ads along with insurance costs, hospitalization after addiction until death, etc. I see no reason to celebrate July 4 anymore.

Have gotten several calls from them. Rude guy talks over you-smells like a scam. Told them that I am on the Do Not Call list the first time they called...then reported them. Just called again and told the guy that I had already told them not to call me and that I had reported them.

Call from this number more than once. About same message as above. need to schedule delivery for emergency medical equipment has been paid something about "health professional' he was advised that I am a health professional..that did not slow him down. I hung up.
Jean 2013-06-27 16:53:18 Unknown
Ditto to all of you, repeated calls even though we are on the no-call list. These days is doesn't seem to make any difference considering all the sales calls we get. The reason you can't interrupt "John" is that it is a recording, a slick one. I waited till it hit the end where you are asked to push a button. I didn't. I'm sure it is some kind of scam, whether to sell something or phish for personal information. I'll report this to the no-call line, for all the good it will do.
Mike-in-MD 2013-06-26 14:01:31 Unknown
It's all a scam to trick seniors who may not be thinking clearly into agreeing to a long term expensive monitoring contract. The whole purpose of the call is to get you to agree to the contract with the lure of the "free" system. Just like the slimy "free" home security system scammers.
Lou 2013-06-26 13:56:51 Unknown
I got the call last night from "John" and reported him to the do not call registry! He would not shut up. I did not order a medical alert device, but he said a friend or family member may have ordered it for me and paid for it and shipping

I experienced the same thing with this caller. He just kept calling and would not answer any of my questions. I had to hang up on him. Please block his calling to me!

They call on a regular basis - we don't answer. Other previous posts here tell it all. How to stop them?
Maggie 2013-06-22 21:41:32 Unknown
My complaint is the same as all those above. Is there any way we can stop these calls?
Amber 2013-06-22 17:33:04 Unknown
This happened to me today! Exactly as everyone else stated. The man would not answer my questions, kept talking over me. I finally was yelling "hello, hello". It never changed, was a recording that went on to prompt you to press 1 to accept, etc. I just hung up. I've had a lot of missed calls from this number over the last few days. This is such a scam. I hope no one falls for it, especially the elderly that may have needed such a device.
