Called my cell phone again. I certainly wish the identity of the owner of a phone line wasn't so shrouded in mystery. I should have access to that information in order to effectively report them for harassment.

I am a Charter Comm. customer already but this morning @ 1:30 am I recd. a call from the 205-588-6521 # and now to realize it is Charter calling me @ 1:30 am just infuriates me no end!

Googled this # after I got a one ring hangup call. After reading other posts, I wonder if they stopped because I'm on the 'do not call' registry? Or maybe because I have Charter in St. Louis but a Florida area code...? Time will tell.......

You cannot communicate with Charter via this discussion forum, you have to call them. Also, because you are a current customer the Do Not Call list does not apply until you tell them to stop calling. You can go online to manage your account and set preferences to No Calls and/or change the phone number to something like 333-333-3333

I am already a customer. You called me twice, at 2051 and 2056 hours, too late for such activity.
I am on the Do-Not-Call list.
Stop it! If it continues, I will cancel service entirely.

Continued hang up calls from Charter...so after some research I found and tried this...will see if it works.

They do not leave a message but according to calls I see listed here it is Charter Communications...I have over 20 calls in the last 2 weeks....what does it take to stop these calls. Guess I will have to cancel my cable tv.

They started calling from 855-290-3162 & were calling every 2 hrs again no-one there. I blocked the call but my phone still rings once before disconnecting. Now they're calling from 205-588-6521. I'm very upset. I think everyone getting harrassed from Charter should start calling their local office every hr & hang up while they're trying to do their jobs. Ask for a sales clerk when they get to phone hang up. I'm ready to retaliate.

They call here 2-3 times a day,no one speaks.I wish they would so I could give the a piece of my mind.
I did call them & had my phone number taken off the list,takes 30 days & may receive calls till then.

I know the calls are irritating, but this site has no affiliation with Charter Communications. You will need to contact them and ask them to remove you from their call lists.

same here, started calling me over a month ago, get at least two calls a day, no one there on the two times I have answered, normally just turn it off, but very annoying and unwanted.

Eight calls in the past 4 days ! I went to the website (Charter) and reset my preferences for "NO" calls ! If you have an account, I suggest doing this. Because I utilize their cable service, they have a "legal" right to call me, however their integrity is diminished by the frequency of the harassing calls.

The last straw... I called charter to end these ridiculous calls days ago... the man I spoke with said it may take up to 3 days for them to stop.... today is day 4 and I am awoken at 6:45 am by a call from... you guessed it... CHARTER!

I called them back (since they don't say anything when you answer) and screamed profanity at not one, but two women who both told me it would take THIRTY DAYS for the calls to end... the last woman said she would terminate the call if I didn't stop "cursing"... I said "that's the whole reason we're having this conversation, to get you to F'ing PERMANENTLY TERMINATE calls to me!"
After getting nowhere with them, I called their order line (877-304-2364) two women there now tell me that it will take FORTY FIVE DAYS for the calls to cease. UNACCEPTABLE. I went 2 supervisor levels up and would have kept going (hoping to get to the CEO to tell him what a moron he was if he really believed they could up sell people after p*ssing them off no end. Idiots!) And told "Kevin" that I was going cancel services... that THAT was how P.O.d I was... he suggested changing my account phone number to all 3s and said that would end the calls. I said "do it" and POOF it was done... all of that aggravation and that's all it takes to fix this? It flipping better. If it does not, I'll be back here with an update.
Good luck with the stupid crazy people at CHARTER... yes, agreed.. they should be brought up on CRIMINAL CHARGES.

Calling every day and not leaving a message. Bugging me at 8am- when I'm sleeping!
I answer- and no one is there- and after 13 sec.- they hang up!!!
I hate Charter TV! I already have their services- why would they bug me more?
