A man identified himself as being with the Peace Officer's Association of Georgia and asked how I was doing today.  I explained I was doing fine how was he doing and he said fine... thanks for asking.  He asked if I would like to donate to the deceased officers families.  I told him as long as my husband was living we did donate but he has passed now.  I explained that I myself was a widow and I have a difficult time making ends meet myself, and my work has cut my hours back.  The man slammed the phone down.

He was very nice until he found I could not donate and his attitude changed completely.  I did take the number from my caller ID and it was GOA 205-557-4793.  I attempted to call the numbere back because I wanted to complain about the man.  When I called this number there was a recording and said this number no longer was in service.  I did call it twice to make sure I dialed the correct number and both times it said the number no longer was in service.

A man called from 205-776-6015 at 7:34 PM Sunday, August 23, 2009, and asked my father for money.  The caller ID said "POA GEORGIA", and immediately I remembered that this was a scam artist trying to get money.  I remember reading online reports that the police or real Peace Officer's Association of Georgia do NOT demand money from citizens.  Do NOT fall for this liar and/or thief with "POA GEORGIA".

This number called my and when i researched it, it comes up as a telemarketer and i am in the process of reporting them cause i am on the state and federal DO-NOT-CALL list.

POA GEORGIA ---  Let it ring ---they are back and second call from them --- I don't answer ---- I an on the DO NOT CALL LIST

Got a call on 12/06/09 where caller asked for my elderly grandmother by name ( phone is not in her name) and when I asked who was calling they said this was a courtesy call and then hung up. When I called the number back it says it has been disconnected or is no longer in service.

Not at home.  Showed up in caller ID.

have had several calls from this number. Noone there whebn you answer and if you call the number back you get a message saying the number has been disconnected.

I dailed*69 to get number that called it did not show up on caller I.D.These calls are very annoying and should be stopped by someone.
