The number is NOT a valid number and therefore should not work if you call it.
That makes it very obvious that it's a scammer. Do not answer.
As for blocking it, you could do that through your service provider if they allow you to block calls, but a handset that has a call block feature, or try signing up for NoMoRobo.com if you can and hope the number gets added to their database of scam callers.
I have now received about 10 calls from this number and never answer.

How do I stop this number from bothering me, thing is, if you won't leave a msg, we won't answer.

I get calls from this # regularly. I never answer them but when I call back from a blocked land line it tells me the # can not be completed as dialed. I have it listedvin my address book under "Bogus Call".

I have received 2 calls from this number. When my answering machine gets it, they hang up. The caller ID says "Name Unavailable".
