Got a call feom this number today, but didn't answer because I never answer unknown numbers. They left no voicemail, but the caller ID said ICF and it was a local number. Most scams come from far, far away. This is my cell phone they called and I've only had this number for a little over a month, so I dunno how they got it!

"ICF" called at 8:22 pm to my home near Seattle. I did not answer and they left no message.

IFC- doing a survey for health for Washington state. Told the guy wasn't interested and said it was from the state! Asked if it was mandatory and he said no but still wouldn't take no! Told him I don't do surveys and once again wouldn't take no for the answer. Told him again firmly I wasn't answering sh$t and hung up. Added to my blocked list.

They are surveying for the IRS Tax Advocate Office.  I

This is a Health Study for the WA State Department of Health that has been done for over 20 years.
It would help us all to partake in the survey to keep up the proper funding for the Department of Health.
I was given the following number 1-866-784-7151 to call if I had any follow up questions.  The number works and the voicemail gives information to have your number removed, call the study coordinator or continue to finish the study.

Interview takes 25-35 minutes, asks very very personal questions about your health, mental health, life in general - THEY WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR DOB, SS# or other IDENTIFYING INFORMATION - nor should you give it out to anyone that calls you!
The DOH needs to know how many people really CANNOT afford to live in Seattle!
The person who is conducting the interview is just doing their job.  Having done this work it is very hard to do and a really good interviewer doesn't care about your answers or judge you in anyway.
They are trying to get a paycheck and pay their bills, just like you and me.

So you reporting that you know nothing.  Absolutely brillisnt...

Since you didn't answer and have no info to report,  why report it?

Called me 8:30pm, said he was doing a survey for the health dept. Also was asking odd questions like was I safe, was I driving, do I live in a residence or apartment, was I on a cell, I cut him off about there and told him no thank you,  I also told him he was creeping me out, seems I could hear snickering in the background.

I answered a call from them - ICF, calling and asking questions regarding health and community. Very professional gentleman, reminded me throughout that I did not have to answer any questions I did not wish to, and that I could end the survey at any time. Told me it would take about 30 minutes - I'd say it took closer to 20. I did answer every question (some regarding health, workplace environment, drinks/smoking/drug use, having people I count on, etc), as I trusted my instincts that this was not a scam.

Glad to help out if this can help get an understanding of our state and community. Even though I suffer few health issues, I don't think I'm fully representative of my area, and I hope that others do take the time to answer so that the snapshot is more accurate.

These people will continue to call you daily, sometimes more than once a day, if you don't answer to do their stupid survey. It's rather annoying. Been going on for about two weeks now.

Do Not Answer the phone its all a scam. I called it back and talked to someone that wanted way to much information.  

I have received 2 calls now.  I don't answer unless I know who it is.

They're still at it.  Got a call today from ICF at 206-224-0125.  Let it go the the answering machine but they left no message.

This number keeps calling mew every evening

Calls at dinner time. This is rude and should be stopped. Thinking that I will dial and dial this number back and hang up.

I have been ignoring this number for weeks. Today I called back and got the 'push 1 for blah blah'  I selected 4 and was able give only my cell number so they could remove it from their call list. Still annoying, but better than getting calls every day. Hope this helps

Got a call on my cell phone from 206224012 at 8:49 PM -the time when smaller children are in bed, slightly older children are getting ready for bed, and legitimate businesses don't generally call. (Even the telemarketers usually knock it off by 7 PM). I didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer it. Then I search it (in case I missed something important), and find report after report of how calls from that number are a problem. The number is only partnered with 'Seattle, WA', no name.

I haven't entered any contests or such, but I have been job hunting and posting my profile on job sites, including my cell number under 'contact information'.

14 calls in 5 days. No message for 13 calls, 1 message not stating the caller name but that Dept. of Health has survey questions requiring answers from me. I would need more details to determine the validity of the call and the importance of my participation.

Do not answer these questions are based on an algorithym and collected together are private and intrudive. Why does the state need this?.

I just want to add that if they were more courteous, they might get a better response. And HOW SKEWED are the results if most sane and working people don't answer? Don't imagine the results could be very good.

I did receive a letter in the mail from the WA DOH asking me to participate in a health survey. Heck, I don't even like to do the census questionnaire. This number calls me everyday, never leaves a message. I imagine it is legit however I don't like calls when a message is not left. I think it is RUDE to not leave a message if the call is legit and not a collections agency.

We will never answer any survey questions for them.  Rude deserves rude...They are very annoying.    It's none of the governments business as far as our health care goes....

I got a call from this number twice, answered it the second time and the info given above was what I got when I answered. I didn't have the time or desire to participate and tried to tell him I was not interested and hardly got a word in so I hung up on him.

Caller is from ICF which is a company contracted by the state of Washington Department of Health. Obviously they have been hired to gather information but for what purpose I do not know. Since they work for the state they apparently are excluded from the Do Not Call Registry but I'm not sure if that is really true.

If it's all on the up and up then why not leave a message? What do they have to hide? It may be legitimate but not leaving a message only drives up the suspicions, in my humble opinion. If they are calling on the behalf of the DOH(Department of Health) then they really need to develop a better Protocol.

My guess is they must be paid by the number of calls they make not by the number of people who respond. Too bad, I bet if they were to explain their message in one call their response rate or survey rate would increase dramatically. What do I know, I'm just another person on the end of the line, waiting to see if you have something interesting to say, cause I'm too legit to quit!!!!
