This is my number which has been hijacked by a telemarketer through something called Caller ID spoofing. This apparently is not illegal and is a scam employed typically by telemarketing firms to circumvent the Caller ID system by falsifying their calling party number information. They've basically stolen my identity to harass people.

I have been inundated day and night with calls from people claiming I called them when in fact I did not. It has been a living hell for me and I?ve had to shut off the ringer of my phone. AT&T told me I had to wait a week to change my number. AT&T?s customer service has been so horrible that I just cancelled them.

Block this number as whoever did this is to me is not only a huckster, but a thief.

Any long distance or toll free number: I just pick up the phone receiver and then hang up.  I'm tired of the whole "take me off your call list" argument. If my phone could block numbers, I would block this one too.  Caller ID just says Seattle, WA.

i do not understand why we as the people paying for phone service have to put up with all these kinda calls.i think are phone carriers ought to put a stop to this Nonsense......
