CALLED ME SAYING I WAS PICKED TO RECEIVE 7000 DOLLARS FREE MONEY FROM THE GOVT BUT I HAD TO GIVE THEM 190 DOLLARS TO RECEIVE IT ON MY MASTER CARD.CALLED THE NUMBER BACK NO ANSWER SAID HER NAME WAS KATHYLEEN JOHNSON. AND THE FIRST NUMBER THEY CALLED ME FROM IS 2532327516.

I got a call from the same woman its not worth it and don't send her any money

I just received a call like the ones noted above...I figured it was a scam also....BEWARE!!!

I think I should call her back and have her send me 190.00 and I'll send her 7000.

I got a call from this number saying they had 7000 dollars for me after I go to a western union and give them 190. in cash. I don't think so! What is with these people?

I just got the call from the same number as well..a 253-232-7516 number called and it was an Indian guy. He then told me to call another number 206-317-1614 and speak with his manager. I then called back the first number and I got a prompt saying that the number was disconnected..So I called the number he gave me and I was astonished that it rang for quite a while and no answer..Finally the chick calls me back and said "Hi, did someone called this number".....she had a funny accent..I don't trust her..I'm going to verify the information more and then post my results back on this site..nobody plays around with my head and gets away with it..

This lady I had to ask her several times what the $190 for all she would say is to verify who I was and I told her that's what's my ID for but a total scam

called about a 7000 dollar grant. asked for basic info, nothing huge but then said to call another number. I was very skeptical so I googled the number and this website popped up.  definitely a scam.

Caller: Cathrine Johnson, claims to be an employee of the federal government; Phone call from this number stating that I had been awarded a $7000 government grant which required a $190 sent by Western Union money transfer to Delhi, India recipient named, Ramesh Jain, and to save the receipt to verify that I would receive the money to be sent to me via Western Union. the entire process would take about 15 minutes.

The main obvious problem is ... she didn't mention which federal government (INDIA). Did NOT comply. I need what little money I have, and to help other potential victims who like me cannot afford to lose it to scammers.
