You can also report the call and number to you state's PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, they will investigate it....especially if you continue to get the call.

It is always a recording, asking you to press 1 for more information, or press 2 "to be placed on a Do Not Call list." It is ill-advised to press any numbers from an unsolicited call, because this can allow the caller, which more than likely is a scam, to bill unwanted charges to your phone.
Since there does not appear to be a primary business or central number to address these calls (I have ruled out General Electric), I will be reporting these calls to my state Attorney General's Office for investigation and the possibility of future prosecution.

Push the 1 button when they call to talk with someone ... if you have a speakerphone place your receiver near the speaker when they answer and give them a high dose of feedback.

I'm getting so sick of this number calling my home and business.  I can't speak with anyone and when i call the number it says that you can't speak with anyone.  I thought I was on a do not call list but this phone number robocall is just pissing me off to no end.

simple - report these scamsuckers to the feds - "do not call" complaint - just google it.

I was at a doctor appt the other day and had forgotten to turn the ringer off.  The phone rang 3 times!!!

I keep getting the SAME call - only it's on my cell AND my home number but it's from MANY different numbers.  I have tried to call them ALL back and they all say they are 'disconnected'!!!

I just wish I new how to report them for harassment!  I mean really!!!  Daily and on my home AND cell!!!!  I'm just really done and WANT something done to stop it!  And I HAVE a security system, so don't want these calls.  Being on the DONOTCALL list helps some.  Guess it's time to go back and do that again.  

IF ANYONE KNOWS A PLACE TO REPORT THESE - PLEASE POST IT HERE SO WE CAN ALL REPORT IT and THE COMPANY MAKING THE CALLS.  They are a public nuisance!

They are selling General Electric systems, but I doubt if they're really GE.  GE wouldn't be this dumb.

Kathy, good...I agree, I yelled at them about the, implying that I "dont want to protect my family by pushing 2" instead of 1 to connect with them and apply for their home protection system.....and guess what...I pressed to find out who they are and what they are about....yes, it is the General Electric Company.  They wont tell you that unless you ask and push.

Today, Feb 1, 2012,  we got yet another robo call from 206-323-8870 (Seattle Washington).  The message starts out 'this is not a sales' but it is a sales call. Since the name of the company is not given during the recorded spiel, and I wanted to report the company to the National Do Not Call Registry, I waited for the prompt to speak to someone and find out the name of the company.  The woman I spoke with obviously did not want to give me the name of the company but when I persisted she said it was General Electric Security.  I told her my number is on the National Do Not Call List and she said she didn't have the list.  She was argumentative.  I told her I was reporting them today and hung up.

I have received SO  Many calls fro 206-323-8870 listed on caller ID as being: Seattle, WA  - it is so
frustrating not to be able to stop these people.

I've gotten the same phone call, every day for nearly 3 weeks and I always hang up. However, I would like to stop this call  forever. I am already on the No Call List. The Recording tells me not to hang up-says it's not a sales call. But the same message comes from a variety of telephone numbers in different parts of the country. What can we do to stop this intrusion?

these scammers must be dumb as a rock if they think a company allegedly from Seattle can monitor a security system in Florida...and all old people in Florida aren't as dumb as they are.

Yes. I received a call from 206-323-8870 and it was the same as others have posted. Telling me it is an important call, how many people fall down and get hurt, how many break ins occur. I immediately hung up. I agree with Kathy. Do not push any buttons as they are probably phishing to find out who has a security system and most importantly who does not.

Then said If I wanted to upgrade my home security system to press #1
And if I did not want to protect my family press #2.

I pressed # 2 cause we?ve already got a system here?.  But within a moments time I thought, you know what? that was STOOPID to press the # 2 button, if it's people trying to see who has home alarm systems... So I decided to call them back right away to inform them, that my home IS CURRENTLY PROTECTED!!!!   Welll that 206 - 323 - 8870 is Disconnect, according the Recording that comes on...  

Now there's reason for concern, someone utilizing a disconnected #, to call peoples homes... Just seems a bit ODD! BE WARY about which options you push! in fact, DON'T PUSH ANY BUTTONS! JUST HANG UP THE PHONE, and block the # if you're able to.
