Its a online voice mail service called K7. However, it cannot call out it is just a voice mail/fax receiving number.

I posted all those forms back 2 months ago and i,m shocked how those scumbags can scam people by advertising on your government web site, is people working for service canada that stupid or do they not check these companies or do they not care. The information people passed on could end up in the hands of terrorists.

I too have recieved the kit and stumbling upon this, I have reported it to CBC news and will report it to the police as well. The scariest is that this job posting was on a secure sight from the government and not only was there a drug test but it was for a saliva sample. Your own D.N.A. Bunch of Crooks.

Me too !!! I saw this job posting and recieved the same package things, also was strange for them to ask for social security numbers, so check into company and it's not real SCAMERS!!!

I applied to them two months ago, I was disapointed after waiting so long, but they put me in touch with the company that has actually hired me for a job in Northern BC. Were sending my brothers info into Valco this week.

Just got the same junk in the mail today,gave it to R.C.M.P a scam like this needs to be stopped.

Just to let some of you know if you phone "phone buster's" they will give you the info you need how to keep all your things safe and the more reports they get about this it will be helpful to catch these people!!! your police where ever you live will give you the number and they also have a website that i wasnt aware of before but for future i am glad i know now!!!

My husband did apply for this job mth and half ago same thing they sent us pkg with that book and swab test application, crim chk, I did find it very odd the way it came like that, we have reported it and im very disappointed with who is doing this but there are so many scams out there that this is how easy they can get your info especially when someone is looking for work and think the company is interested in them and they might get hired on..I am thinking about the many more people who have applied for this job, it is a learning experience for me and I will be extra careful..checking area codes, like this one it was not from Austraila and checking the 1-800 number that doesn't even work..

I got the hiring information from website of jobbank.gc.ca  one and half month ago,and then I tried to find out the address of this company,the address that we know only is mailbox address,and that time I still sent out my resume.today,I got a letter from Valcorp Energy ,It told that I need to send 38 dollars for safe test.I think this company is bilker.be careful! I will give the letter to police.Don't be caught with chaff ! anything like that,we need to share the information for each other.

Wow, am i glad i did a little research and came across this posting. I too received the same package in the mail today, I found it a little odd when i went to drop off a resume at the address they gave and found there wasn't even an office for this company. Great work everyone, I sincerely hope they catch whoever is behind such a heinous crime.

MY BROTHER JUST GOT THAT PACKAGE IN THE MAIL.....HE WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT IT...I TRIED FINDING VALCORP ENERGY ON THE WEB..BUT NO SUCH THING !!!   THEN I CAME ACCROSS THIS SITE....I HAVE WEEN WORKING THE OILFIELD FOR 36 YEARS AND THIS SOUNDED TOO GOOD !!   dAMM GOOD THING I FOUND THIS SITE !!  ALL HIS DREAMS ARE CRUSHED NOW !!  lmfao .  GOOD JOB PEOPLE....HEÈS REPORTING IT TO THE R.C.M.P.

My BF just received one of these packages. It contains a really poorly written letter from Jennifer Hickey that is not actually adressed to anyone and comes from a local post office box. There's also an application form that asks for personal info such as "social scurity number", drivers license etc and a totally random Australia Federal Police Check form. A completely legitimate, but easily obtainable copy of the Government of Canada Consular Service's "Bon Voyage, But..." information guide for Canadian travellers is also thrown in, no doubt to make the package seem more legitimate. It doesn't really work though!...The last item in the package should be enough to make anyone uneasy: a q-tip in a small baggie attached to a badly photocpied form that asks you to a) moisten the swab with saliva, b) place swab in plastic envelope, and c) send along with recruitment package and a  cheque for 38 dollars to "Safe-Test Solutions".

Please do not send these crooks money!! They are taking advantage of the many people hurt by the recession, tempting them with the idea of overseas travel, then taking them for 40 bucks and maybe a whole lot more!!

i just got a package in the mail from a jennifer hickey @ valcorp
and it immediatly  triggered an alarm when i saw the home made drug
test kit with a required payment it made my stomach turn because no
legitamite company would request a payment for a company drug test they
asked enough information to steal your identity so anyone who applied
for any overseas positions with valcorp energy it is a scam ......

Can someone please explain this further?

Potential identity theft scam.  Will ask for drug test fee, and lots of personal information for Australian police check.  

With what they ask, they would have enough info to apply for credit cards and steal your identity.
