You got it... they want your money.

This is still an on-going issue. I received call but it is no longer a male but a female, same hispanic accent, saying they will come arrest me, blah, blah, blah... what's the point of all of this? Are they trying to get ypu to send money? I have told everyone that has called claiming to be from the DEA to come on & arrest me, so far it's been at least 4 years & nobody has cuffed me yet!

Yeah, like DEA is going to call you and give you fair warning that they are coming.  Hacks.  I also purchased petmeds online.  I guess my info was sold to these creeps.

Same here.  When I told them i had NO CLUE what they were talking about they immediately hung up  I attempted to call them back.  They picked up and turned around and hung up without saying a word.  I have a friend who is a retired DEA officer.  I'll be passing that phone number on.

call from Anehiem CA. same number stating a warrant for my arrest and her last name is Taylor. About a package I have ordered. I never order anything.
left a call back and extension number. When I call it is busy.
I have the message saved.

I too recieved a call from "Special Agent Lynn Taylor" with the DEA, this one in Anaheim CA . (714-409-3992)  She stated that she had a warrent for my arrest and a warrent to search my home and had my home address. She went on to say that I am looking at 7-10 years in jail for ordering illegal drugs over the internet and mail fraud for having them sent via US mail. (this was all about 8 years ago) Lynn advised that I get an attorney and that she would call me back with a case number. When I hung up on her, she immediately called back and threatened me for "hanging up on a Federal Agent" and said that it was "not a smart thing to do"!
I filed a harrassement report with the local PD after realizing that it was a scam.....these folks are very good at this, don't be fooled and release any information to them.

I have received several calls from this number out of Anaheim California stating this is the DEA  and I need to call him back ASAP. They call my cell then call my work. Its very irritating. I have called the local police department and they have verified it is a SCAM too.  I have also talked to a lawyer about this. They also do this out of NY 914-908-4262 with a female who is very pushy about wanting to send someone to arrest you within an hour unless you want to pay a fine to the Dominican Republic.

I just received a phone call from DEA Agent Lynn Taylor -- what a load of bull.  Like the DEA agenency is going to give me notice a heads up that they are going to raid my home and come to my work and arrest me.  I don't think so.  Please people do not fall for this scam.

these calls are comming from westlake financial services in cali. they sold your info to the wannabe DEA hopeing to scam you out of your money. thats how dirty this car loan company is. if you defalted on a car loan from these guys they will call you and threaten you.

Received call today approx 3p CST,  from "dea agent",  very difficult to understand, heavy accent.  Mentioned a 4 yr investigation regarding weight loss medications being purchased via on-line pharmacies.  Told me number of cases in U.S. involved, etc.  He said it was better to receive a phone call than a knock on my door.  Then he connected me to "Federal Criminal Atty", and she said she had agents in the perimeter and all they needed was a signal from her to arrest me and they had a search warrant.  When I didn't say anything about it, she said, "ok they're coming in now". ?????

I missed his call and when I called him back he greeted me, "you have reached the office of o--- r---- (kinda muffled out) with the D--(muffled again), how may I help you?"

"I missed a call from you, you're who with what?" (my voice was echoed)

"This is officer r---- with the DEA, how may I"--

"What's the DEA?" (I'm kinda dumb)

"Drug Enforcement Agency"

"Ah, I think you called the wrong guy then"

"Well, let me check, what's your name"

"Sean Alexander"

"Okay hold on" (then he hung up on me and never answered my calls again.)

It has been about a year since I heard from the special agent-never can understand his name.  He is on my voice mail today.  I almost want to call him back, you know, to say hi, it has been awhile.

These people are scum bags! An elderly gentleman came into my store trying to send Western Union  to a bail bondsman for his grandson to prevent him from going to jail over this scam! Thank goodness the office manager stopped him from making that msitake! They are preying on the most vulnerable of people!

He really had me fooled for a short time! I thought I could never be fooled by as scammer, I'm too smart for that HA! I had ordered weight loss meds online years ago.
I called the police afterward because a similar scam was being attempted through Western Union to an elderly gentleman where I am employed. $2900.00 to peru for a bail bondsman.......We stopped him!!

Call came into my company cell phone while I was on another call.  Since a lot of our company numbers have a 714 area code, I called the number back when I was done with my call.  Like reported by others, I could barely understand the caller but kept asking if this was business related.  I work for a large company and some employees do have an accent and can be hard to understand over a cell phone.  

I finally got the DEA part and that I was accused of buying drugs over the internet.  Other than the online pharmacy associated with my insurance plan, I can't imagine buying or using anything that the DEA would have an interest in.  I didn't understand the paying the fine part, just that I would soon be arrested either at work or home.  That's when they lost all credibility since I would think that if I were really in trouble, I would have been receiving registered letters.  

These scammers need to work on their English language skills since you can't understand them enough  to send them money if you were dumb enough to fall for their nonsense.

Received a scam call from "DEA Agent Pedro J H?" could get the last name because of the accent and the connection on my answering machine Thursday 1/5/2012 at 2:30pm.   Very threatening message.  I have no clue what this is about. I don't plan on calling a long distance number to find out.  Someone told me this is a scam.  I am on the National Directory of Do Not Call.  I will be reporting on that sight as well.

I don't know how he got my number, I didn't answer his call. Then I went online and Googled his phone number. I called him back and he kept asking me my name. I said"you don't need my name, you have been found out and you are on the internet as a scammer" he quickly hung up.

I just recieved a call from this number said that I ordered illigal drugs online.  WTF don't know what he is talking about.  Very hard to understand.

got a call from some wetback today claiming to be DEA, asked him to put me through to ICE, call ended suddenly...hope it wasn't anything I said :)

I just got a call from Officer Javier Pena at 714-409-3992 at work.  He said I was going to be extradicted to the Dominican Republic / Carribean.  He had me going for a minute.  I told him I had not ordered any drugs ... just meds, but from the US.  He got real nasty with me and told me that I had to send $1800 from Western Union, and then I had to call him from Western Union and he or another officer would tell me what to do when I got to the Western Union.  

I finally had had it and told him that if they took me to the Carribean would it be nice?  Geesh!!!  I also told him I was going to call the FBI and DEA and find out if he was legit.  He told me the US did not have jurisdiction over their office and there was nothing the FBI or DEA could do to help me.  Whatever!  If the US does not have jurisdiction over the Dominican Republic, they surely do not have jurisdiction over the US.

Got the same message today.  I'm not calling him back-  it's a scam and a waste of my time.

this pena had me going. threatend arrest then when I pushed back he told me my address which was correct and threatened to ruin my life.  I am a pretty savy tech person and it was for 30 minutes before I started to wonder if this was legit. I told him I would go to the justice dept and police dept and he said fine, they were coming to my house. Little did he know that I do have access to the Justice Dept and police dept and in 10 min i was sitting with a police captian and special agent with the DEA. Pena even gave me an 877 number with an extension to call him back. I did and the voicemail said to press 355 for Agent Pena. They have gotten a lot more sophisticated. I gave the two numbers, the one pena called from a 714 number and the 877 number. I hope he gets caught and gets 30 years. Folks, don't underestimate or belittle this. Serious stuff.

Just got a call from the same guy with the same scam. I called him back and he answered! Like the
DEA is going to work on Saturdays, call before coming to arrest you anmd call from a 714 area
code. This also happened when I was in NY but at least they called from the 202 area code, which is  Washington DC!

Yeah, he tried to do the same thing to me.  As soon as I said it sounds like a scam, he hung up.

Same thing happened to me as stated above.  It must be some scam related to purchasing from online pharmacies.  Crooks!
