I have not and will not call and would not advise anyone to call either. Just wanted to share so that I could warn others.

I was sent a fax about Life Insurance with a different # to fax it to for a quote. No company name listed. Page I received said "To unsubscribe, please FAX request to 206-338-0642." Reading the other comments, I can tell I won't be removed; am tempted to fax them black construction paper...

As far as I know, the 'Do not call' list is no longer valid, because some liberal politician felt anyone should be able to call anyone.

Seems I get more and more calls since I added my number to the do not call list. (I'm beginning to think that was a gimmick to get our phone numbers to sell to these companies.)  Thank God for Mr. Number!  If you have an android phone it's a free download and very easy to use to block these jacka**es.

SPAM.  I received a call today. Did not bother to answer

Just received a call from this number. Didn't answer, and left no msg.

I am on the do not call list. Why is my cell phone getting calls from 206-338-7217.  I do not want these calls.

This number robo-called.  Recorded solicitation for electronic cigarettes.  Asked to be removed from their list.  This very much appears to be a similar solicitation style robo call (Insurance sales solicitation ) that also recently called.  That number calling was 847-600-4906.  I've reported both numbers at the do not call registry as a violation (my number is registered).

Got another phone call (7:14m) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize, that I have marked in my contact list as a "Telemarketer" with a silent ringtone.  (This number is #43 of 44 so marked.)  
(Does this mean that they are still involved in Interstate Fraud?)  
Once again, they of course, left no message.  
As always (especailly with numbers marked as "Telemarketer"), I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.  

I'm still on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a couple of years now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)

and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls.

Seriously, does ANYone answer a call that comes up "Unassigned"??  OR from the 206 area code?  Not ME!!

how annoying; reporting numerous unsolicited calls over the last 5-6 days.  What gives???  does it do any good at all to report these numbers?????????

I received a call from this number and they hung up. I tried calling it back several times and it is constantly busy. To avoid answering calls from this number in the future, I added it to my contact list and named it "Junk". So now in the future it will show me that Junk is calling and I won't bother with it. Hope this idea is useful to all.

Have no idea who this is.  Prefer they do not call me again.  I will not answer a call if I do not know who s calling!

Glad to know I am not the only victim of this relentless company or individual, but that is a small consolation. These calls interrupt my work, frustrate my husband, and use up our plan minutes. I called back only to get a busy signal. It must be a computer dialing system because no one EVER responds to our "Hello?" but they just hang up. What good is that doing them? I do not understand what they get out of it. Are they looking for an active cell phone number to steal? Or an inactive one for the same purpose? Or are they just time vandals?

I did a little work & it seems some of these mysterious calls are confirmation bots at work. all they do is randomly dial numbers to confirm activity & later to be sold on telemarketers calling list & because the list are constantly updated , the "do not call" rule only applies to numbers they have on hand at the time of the ruling , depending on your state & local laws. So basically, try as you might, there is no escaping them completly , unless you go to the call center & give everybody there the cooties.

Called at 7:41pm Eastern time on 01/29/2013.  I did not answer, as the number was unfamiliar.  They left no message.
