I really appreciate your response to my email. I want you to consider
it sold, pls do withdraw the advert from CL to avoid disturbance,
anyways I don't have time to come over to take a look because of my
Business but you don't need to bother yourself with the shipment, I'll
take care of that by engaging the services of a mover, hence I'll be
sending a bank certified check and it will be delivered to you via
United Parcel Service (UPS), so I'll need you to provide me with the
following information to facilitate the mailing of the check.
Full name on the check.
Full Physical address to post the check
City, State and Zip Code
Home & Cell Phone to contact you.
Note that the payment will be shipped to your address via UPS NEXT DAY
AIR SERVICE and I will like you to know that you will not be
responsible for shipping i will have my mover to come over as soon as
you have cashed the check
N.B UPS does not deliver to a P.O box addresses. Thanks

This is my first time listing anything there (and quite probably my last!) I have had nothing but scam responses thus far... I got one from Angelina Pitt (PLEASE!) I think scammers think that we are absolutely stupid! I am certain that Angelina Jolie Pitt would be responding to my craigs list ad! Also, what does the NB mean? It looks like a foreign form of P.S. but it also looks like a Nigerian Red Flag! I would avoid this guy at all costs!

An email came to me today from tyraye200@gmail.com
Same thing...said would buy my baby cribs, send me a bank check and then send someone to pick up the items after the check cleared. Sounded fishy so we looked up the number and saw all these posts.

Wow I'm glad i decided to research the number I just actually called his number because the same thing I have furniture posted and he said he wanted all of it through e-mail and a money order would be arranged for it all (which is almost 300 dollars) but i called both numbers cause I was seeing if it was a scam now looking at this it seems i'm not the only!

Got the same email with the same phone number (but using a different email address) when I listed my car on Craigs List. Was wary that the "buyer" was not at all interested in seeing the car or verifying the condition of the car.

I didn't recieve a call either, but I put an ad for my motorcycle up as well and recieved an email saying they would give me a cashier's check and would send the money before shipping the item. Sure was a vague response email and sounds like a big scam to me!

Didn't receive a call, I posted an ad on craigslist to sell a motorcycle, and someone replied and said they would send me a money order and once it clears they would send someone to retrieve the motorcycle......smells like a scam.
