Got a change from Bigstudiodesign.com on 8-18-2009.

I just received a charge on my card this month, called the credit card company too. They have put it in dispute but did not cancel my card at this time which still leaves me very leary although the charge was a small amount.

8/14 Gamarton.com for $9.45
8/18 Jazziphone.com for $10.25

Phone numbers either rang busy or just directed me to the web site.

My bank is investigating and sending me a new card...

Last month we disputed a charge with our credit card from gamarton for $9.45.  Our credit card company never told us that it was fraud.
This month we got a charge of $13.15 from Bigstudiodesign.com.  When we called the credit card company they said that Bigstudiodesign was a computer company and to call their phone number during regular business hours.  When we called this number we just got a recording saying to go to their website.

Or is this a case of two different individuals who both had a charge from "ADAPTABLE CHARGERS for $59.95" in tandem with the other fraud charges.

We received charges from GAMARTON.COM for $8.45 08/13/09, ADAPTABLE CHARGERS for $59.95 on 08/16/09, and BIGSTUDIODESIGN.COM for $13.15 all on the same credit card bill.  We called our credit card company and inquired and they told us to look them up on the internet.  That's when we found they are fraudulent (the first we knew about it).  We will spread the word about them to everyone we know.  This is very upsetting.  We have never had something like this happen to us in our whole entire lives.

I recieved 2 charges on my Citibank card.  One from Jazziphone.com 206-338-6018 FL for $14.75 on 8/16 and one from GAMARTON.COM Cadillac MI on 8/8 for $9.15.  I am in the process of disputing both charges.  I have cancelled my card, thanks to the posts I have seen on the net.

My bank statement showed they used my debit card and charged on Aug.18 in the amount of $13.15.  Also GMarton.com charged 9.85 that same day.  I have notified my bank. They are looking into it.

I now know who gamarton are, they are also another entity belonging to this organized crime syndicate. "GAMARTON.COM 231-480-4869"

However I need more info on  "NWFRESH $20.00 and adaptablechargers $54.95"

Can you post the line item charge details ?  Is there any other info, a phone number, or a two letter state abbreviation, perhaps ?

Were all the charges posted on 08/16 the same as bigstudiodesign.com" if not can you post the date sequence?

Any victim who had multiple fraud charges along with bigstudiodesign.com, please post that info also.

Our card was charged on 8/17 for $14.75 to bigstudiodeisgn.com. Just discovered using this site that we are being had.

FRAUD ALERT: BIGSTUDIODESIGN.COM 206-350-6215 aka ILLUSTRATIVE STUDIO, INC. is a fake front company that is part of a large group of fraudulent websites processing hijacked card data into cash. The card data fraud laundering operation is ran by a multi year Russian organized crime syndicate, operating from Eastern Europe.

The fake sites are set up exclusively to process stolen card data, and launder the charges into cash. The stolen funds are then wired to various banks in Bulgaria, Latvia, Kyrgstan, and Cyprus. Some of the stolen funds have ended up in the Ukraine.

This Russian headquartered organized crime syndicate recruits cyber-mules, either through fake job adds, or by targeting online posted resumes at careerbuilder.com, Monster, etc. They masquerade as legitimate software companies from various countries in Europe. The duped cyber-mules are then instructed to set up domestic LLCs / Corps, open a business bank account, and obtain merchant gateway processing services specifically through authorize.net. The crime syndicate manages the associated website and uses the services set up by the cyber-mules to launder hijacked credit cards into cash. Every single charge processed via these sites are from stolen card data. It is estimated that they may process 2 million cards a year, and may have 40 to 50 fraud sites operating at any given time.

If you receive a charge from one of these fraud entities, it is imperative that you report the charge as FRAUDULENT, and cancel and replace the card. They will keep charging it, also, CHECK YOUR PRIOR STATEMENTS for small fraud charges that you may have missed.
