Bob Mason call our business number and asked for Mrs H. I told him he was calling a business and I asked him who he was with he said JCC and Assoc. I then asked him what it was in reference to and he said it was a personal matter. After reading the other comments it seems they are bottom feeding Debt Collectors.

Their toll free number is 877-272-7729.  She started out by tricking me into answering by calling me from a number that matches my area code.  Once she has you on the phone, she threatens to turn it over to a lawyer to sue you and garnish your income if you don't pay the whole balance in one week.  This one is definitely better left unanswered.  I wrote them a dispute / verification letter because they didn't have an account number that ever belonged to me..

It is probably Portfolio Recovery. They are a very nasty debt buying company.

They called late one night and i asked who was calling. Wouldnt say anything more than their first name. They were asking for my 90 yr old grandmother. I told them I dont give out info to people who wont tell me who they are and he still refused so i hung up. He continued to call back. Called office of aging today and was told to have her stop payments to them. She was paying over $200 a month to them and they were still harassing her! she even had automatic withdraws being made. They called me a liar when I told them the debt was from a stolen card. (The card was stolen by a relative so it was never reported)  Funny how sweet they tried to act to her when trying to get money but when they realized i was on speaker phone and stated the law to them they got mad and outright rude.

It is never ok to call anyone after 9pm nor is it ok to call multiple times a day or even multiple times a week. This is harassment under the fair debt collection practices act. they are strong arming my grandmother to pay on a card my cousin stole from her 7 years ago. I called them and had her talk to them on speaker phone. they tried acting sweet to her and tried to coerce her until i told them i was listening and that they were told to stop. They called me a liar and outright refuse to stop calling. I have talked to office of the aging and had legal advice on this. They buy off old debt and try to get you to pay when legally you dont have to and prey on the elderly.

could answer and see why they are calling? idk just a thought i did and the calls stopped after i learned that i missed a med bill by mistake and they where hired to collect it.

well i see alot of people mad out here. being on a no call list dosent matter if you owe acompany money they can still call you. if you answer your phone and talk to them ya might find you can get to the bottom of it and find out why theyre calling... idk? i just pay my bills and be honest and polite when i get phone calls. if you dont pay bills on time they get sent to collections it happens some times. and some times they just have the wrong number...

I resent having solicitations sent to my cell phone.  They have phoned three times this morning and for what reason?  This is harrassment.

I have been dealing with this so-called "attorney" from this company (J.C.Christiensen for Best Buy) for months now. Just yesterday, I yelled at him and hung up on him, because I will NOT give out my bank info over the phone. He told me that I was a "good customer" (because I have been paying off my debt on time, etc.) and he wanted to make me a "deal" to finish off the debt, which is down to about $400, but he would have to get into my bank account to do this. I have told him quite a few times, that twice i was a victim of attempted identity theft, and i give out my info to NOBODY. Now, he's trying to call me again today...I can't wait until this is paid off, so I can wipe him out and never hear his voice again!!! arghhh!!!

They're calling because someone in your household is viewing pornos on your home internet computer. Particularly those free porn sites. They are also able to hear your conversations on the phone line if you've not notice the phone line has seem to be a bit... clearer, so to say, in reception.

Got calls from both 866# and 320# said his name was Grant Watson from J.C.Christensen Co. Told him we do not make arrangments via telephone.Told him you want to discuss personal business matters send us via mail or e-mail gave e-mail address. He told me they had sent a letter that day from Minnesota. I told him I will contact him when letter arrives. That was five days ago still nothing. But still calling, did not answer, and did not leave message.

This jack--- company keeps calling.  They were told to stop, but continue to call everyday.  I guess they need a wake up call from an attorney!!!!!  Time to fight back.

Got a call from them today. The caller's name was Barbara Dean. Called the toll-free number back and got her voicemail. Toll-free number was 866.739.3431.

I got a text from them when I got home.There was no name or number.Noting to identify them with and they say they got my number they're own way. I want them to stop but there is no freakin call back number or name.

called my mothers house where i havent lived in years and started harrassing her for a phone number where i could be reached.  when she told them she was not going to give it to them and that she was babysitting.  they had the nerve to say who are you babysitting.  these people are very nasty and need to be stopped.

I talk to this guy, when I asked him about account protection sheild I applied for he hanged up on me.
Was about a 15 minunit call, very smart mouth asking deep questions about what other family members do for a living, that has no relation to debt. He was going to call my step-father asking him for money, get forreal a**holes this is illegal in many ways.

They call me and tell me my son told gave them my number 2 days ago when our son hasen't talked to us in years. they are very nasty on the phone.

This number calls at least twice a day. I will not answer the phone. All of my debts are 10 yrs old and should be long ago charged off. If you say the wrong thing to these kind of people ESPECIALLY if you pay them or enter into any type of agreement whatsoever, it can reactivate an old debt. This is illegal now, but if I agree to do anything with them, then they are allowed to contact me, etc. If you know your debt is very old, be careful~!

I am not "sure" this is a bill collector, but I'm pretty sure - especially with all the other messages.

I get the same call at least three times a day and sometimes more.

When did you post this message? I'm getting the same phone number calling my cell phone. (Today is Oct. 23, 2007) Have you tried calling it back? What gives?

This number calls me at least twice a day. it's driving me insane.

I keep geting calls from this number onb my land line,  When I call back, I keep geting all circuits are busy.
