Call the number back and they give you an option for removing your #. Press 9. I don't know if it works, but that is at the end of their message. Good luck. Also, register your # with the National Do Not Call registry. That kicks in after a few weeks. You need to re-register once a year.

JERKS keep calling. Caller I.D. says ONLINE UPDATE

We receive calls from this # often and they do not answer when the phone is answered.  This is a business and we are on the Oregon Do Not Call Registry and would like to have this number reported as a violator.

I reported them to the FCC. They have called numerous times. I think they are escaping the FCC rules. if you receive a recorded msg, its a violation, or if you are on the DNC list for 31+ days its a violation. I was only at day 15, but I had requested them to NOT call again, which they did, so I am hoping my complaint to DNC list will get somewhere. I called them back, got a lady. Once I told her I was reporting her, she hung up. Obviously a complete scam. before my 1st words, she said the company name was parks. IDK if that is accurate or not.

Sorry to hear about your cell phone minutes getting eaten up. You can register up to 3 phone numbers with the National Do Not Call Registry or file a complaint with the BBB in their area. I did that with another business  that called after I asked them not to, and they no longer call me. Unfortunately, telemarketers are a fact of life. You change your #, you will still get sales calls. I have found that fighting back always costs time and $, but telemarketers rarely call me now and I have my sanity and satisfaction.  Best of luck!

it's unlikely that guy will know. you need to contact your phone service provider to ask that question as it varies from provider to provider.

Called on 08/30/2013 @ 03:41 PM from Seattle, WA. No message left. What's wrong with law enforcement in Washington? The state is a hotbed of illegal solicitors.

Got a call from this number today (08/30/13) in North Texas. Said to "Press 1 to update my business listing".  I didn't press anything ... just hung up.

Continuous calls from this number. Suggest that you answer, say "Hi. Hang on just a second." The put the phone down and go about your business. You just ate up what they consider valuable time. I've noticed a drop in additional calls when I do that. And it makes me feel good.

Clearly, their business skills are less than zero, as this isn't a business, it's a home phone!

Just got their call, which I avoided.  Call blocked them on my Panasonic cordless.  Blocking them has worked very well, despite receiving calls from the same companies on different numbers.  I will escalate my response legally if the situation ever gets worse, but for two+ years this works amazingly well.

They are calling into Oregon too.  They are in fact a "registered public utility" according to the. Washington UTC, so their definition is different than mine also. Astonishing. The CEO has a Los Angeles area code in front of his phone # as shown above. They call, wait 20 seconds, and then hang up.

This number called on 08/12/13 and on 08/13/13, at approximately the same time of the day.  Didn't recognize the number. Didn't answer. No message left.

Search engine optimization scam, they identified themselves as "Top Giant".
They basically screen calls and then transfer you to a high pressure sales agent.

I answer all calls and waste their time.

Block one call from these bottom feeders and they just use another number. "Wouldn't I like my business on the front page of Google?" At least I think that was what it was about as I deleted the very long message after listening for 10 seconds to the recorded message of some brainless sounding twit.

BTW they are calling us here in Canada too...out of the jurisdiction of WA Attorney General

Obviously, your definition of a public utility is quite different than mine.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.
