Dead air on call screening and no message.  I have received multiple calls for the "sign-in-the-yard-free-security" from a 212 area code and elected not to received further calls.  A different company perhaps?

I have been registered on both the Florida and National DNC lists for years.  I finally purchased a call blocker in May, and have blocked 66 numbers so far.  Just wait till the election season as politicians do not believe that they are selling anything and therefore the laws for peons and serfs do not apply to them.

well let me tell you if someone breaks into my place it will be the last time...protected by smith and wesson not to mention electric surveilance plus the dogs not to mention the alarms that trigger other security devises...b*****ds well the DO NOT CALL dioes not work so what makes one think that these a***oles can????

What make/model of call blocker did you get?

Reported them since I'm on the national no not call registry.  They need to get a better telemarketer.  This one cut off in the middle of the message.

Received a call from 206-397-1882.
Just for fun, I answered (even though I knew it was a telemarketer).
I didn't say anything for a good 10-15 seconds and there was just silence on the other end.
After I said "I speak no English" (as a joke), a recording came on that asked if I wanted to upgrade my home security system.
At the end of the recording, the "robo-caller" said to press "1" to speak to a live customer service rep or "3" to get added to their do-not call list.

Obviously.  It was never intended to track down scammers and scofflaws,  nor does it have the capability of blocking anyone's unwanted phone calls.......  It is jut a LIST.   nothing else.

It takes time to track them down and they must have a lot of information & proof!  Some of these people are not even in the country which brings about a whole new problem. If a foreign country doesn't co-operate to bust the boiler room scammers at  "i'mascammer@timbukto.nigeria"  then it just continues on..  Circumstances dictate and of course, these things don't happen overnight when it comes to busts!

How is the FBI not all over these crooks?

I had already entered area code 206 to my call blocker as a result of similar nonsense months ago so I was undisturbed by this new batch of parasites.

Do yourselves a favor folks and get a call blocker.  Sell a kidney and/or first-born if you must. :-)   I used money that I might have otherwise contributed to annoying political parties and charities.  After the constant calls, I decided to put the money to better use.  The resulting absence of annoying calls is worth it.

Several calls but from differnt numbers told me that the FBI has had several break ins in my area and wanted to sell me home protection. Had ask them before to take my name off the list but it seems they just use a different number.

This company continues to call me although I have selected they STOP calling me time and time again!  I am on the do not call registry, obviously it does no good!

Received a call at 4:11 PM on 08/08/2013.  Did not leave a message.  Caller ID showed only the phone number.

Call came in from Seattle, WA - scam wanting to put a security company sign in our front yard - no fee to us!  (yeah right) ... I am on the Do Not Call Registry ... (yeah, that helps too) ... I want these scammers to stop calling!

Put call on mute as the dead air will sometimes trick the auto caller into saying it's a "bad #".  But it was only dead air.
