well i work for caribbean cruise line and it is very much so legit its a free cruise the only thing you are responsible for is your port taxes(for thoes who have never been on a cruise,its a port and processing fee that you pay through customs beforyou board the ship).....now the way the promotion works is you do have to pay the port taxes up front(reason being) i.e we have 750 cabins bon the ship only 200 are reserved for this promotion so if you want the promotion you get registered by paying the promo port fee's......and keep in mind everyone on the ship bosent sail for only 118.00 for two ppl most pay retail value of course we wouldnt be in business.....so saying that to say this you can pay retail we would never turn down your business but america wants so much for so little here it is....it's a very eco friendly price especially in this economy...most ppl dont vacation because they cant afford one honestly vacations are for the privileged you may think so why not look like the privileged but at the same time get more bang for your buck plus we dont call ppl house without them participating in our nation wide survey so the only thing we do is forefill what he or she completed a survey for now if you stop doing surveys no one will call you but because you did it you give us permission to call because by law if you do a survey we have to give you the details........think about it like this if you work hard for your money everyday and the bank can never provide you with a balance or recite thats not right so there for by law its certain information has to be given i mean what does it look like if ppl play the lottery for years and no one ever wins i mean do you get my drift...thx for participating in our nation wide survey good day....and goodbye

Guy called several times today on my cell to inform me I had won a cruise on celebration, I listened to the him talk and he of course needed a credit card # to hold my spot on the cruise - claimed in was for port taxes.

My wife fell for this and they have called twice for her. When I told them she was at work, they tried  to get me hooked. I was skeptical and told them I didn't have a credit card.

this guy who sounds jamaican, call and said i'd won a cruise but i needed a credit card to hold it and that i had to do it today. when i said no, he got a little irratated with me and wanted me to talk to a supervisor. i hung up but he keeps calling back.

This number called me saying I won a 2 night 2 day cruise to the bahamas. When they asked for a credit card number I asked for a webpage or an email confirmation, and they said I could go to grandcaribbeancl.com and sign in with my reservation number after 48 hours where I could get all the details. I normally know better, but I am actually hospitalized at the moment with an infection in my bone, and was on some pain meds. I talked to 3 different people, very pushy, and finally agreed to only pay $118 in port taxes and an extra $99 for an ocean view cabin. Total is for $217, and at the end they tell me I have to do some tour of their Lucaya Resort, which they failed to mention until the end. Oh, and they reserve the right to charge an extra $9 per person per day if the fuel costs more than $40/barrel. Which, hello, barrels of oil are at over $80 right now.

After looking up their "customer service number" (18002218200), I found many other people scammed by this company, and fortunately only called yesterday. The best advice I saw so far is having the credit card company on the call with you while you speak to these manipulative people (even if it's legal, it's certainly unethical) and so when they try to tell you that you cannot cancel, you're credit card company can explain to them the FLORIDA LAW stating you have a right to a full refund within 30 days.

I received a call from them and luckily I was on the computer so I searched the number and found this website. Thank you so much for making such a great webstie and helping people out. I told Mr. Carl Jordan agent # 36253 that I do not have a card on me as I carry cash and not the card. He asked me what type of person I am? Even he carries his card where ever he goes, so I asked him to put the deposit for me from his account. It is only 110 dollars... He constantly asked me to call a friend or wife or someone and get him the information. He was getting on my nerve and was asking again and again... This is a scam. No real company ask you that many times. If you really win something then first of all you will not be asked or they will ask you once and that is it. I hope we can do something about this scamming company and stop them from taking hard earned money from people of America...

The caller is a SCAM company called Grand Carribean Cruise Line or something to that extent. They try to sucker you into a cruise deal. Read the blogs about them; they do whatever they can to get your credit card # (telling you they won't charge it, they just need it to make your reservation which you can use anytime in the next 18 months). Once they have your card number they charge hundreds of dollars without telling you. THIEVES!!!!! big scam, AVOID.

I recently received calls from 206-397-5271 and also from 302-394-6827 and would like to have these calls blocked as I don't know who they are, the 302 # never answered, I could hear noises in the background but no person came on the line.  The 206# their was a person, but didn't recognize the voice.

I live in Florida and I got a call from this number this afternoon. The lady was calling from Caribbean Cruise Line to let me know I had won a free cruise, and the only thing I was responsible for was paying $59.00 per person for government port taxes. I used to work in sales in high school, so this call wasn't a real surprise to me, and I'm a sucker for filling out free stuff online and I actually remembered filling out an online form for a free cruise a few days ago, so I figured maybe this was real. So I listened to the lady explain the "special offer" and it was for a 3 days 2 night cruise to the Grand Bahamas. I wanted some more information so she gave me their website www.grandcaribbeancl.com and I was a little surprised at how nice the actual website and video tour was. I proceeded to listen to her explain how they were able to offer a cruise for "free" and so I decided to give her an old credit card that I knew was canceled. The girl obviously had no idea, and she came back online to inform me that my credit card was declined and not accepted (which made perfect sense to me). She then gave me their customer service number 1-800-221-8200 and a reservation number. She told me once I had money on my credit card that I could call the customer service number and give them my reservation number and still get the deal for $118. I'm going to call the customer service number in a few days when I have some extra money and see if I can still book it with them. I called the customer service number after I got off the phone and it took me to their customer service center, but I hung up. So this seems like a pretty legitimate deal to me.

And I used to work in a call center when I was in high school and my advice to others who don't want to be called or sold anything, just tell them "please put me on your do not call list". It works, and they'll stop bugging you.

Well i got a call the young gave a name of cassie jackson, was very rude when i said i did not want pay the118.00 , ask could i borrow  it are call home and get it, i told her its ok i  good she told me i was dumb and pay 400. later then, i called bac a few times waited on hold then they hung up on me then i called back spoke with a lady name robin then a so called supervisor by the name of caleb, claim the women did not work in office, so i called carnvial , lets see how this go

i have been getting calls froom this numbe for the last 5-7 days.  sometimes they just hang up, yesterday i had an arguement with after i told him to stop calling this number...
today i get a lady...  everycall i answered they ask if Howard is there....  i say no howard and they hang up...

I keep getting multiple calls from this number everyday! It is a cruise line company and I think they are trying to scam me. Please block them.

Hey i keep getting calls too. but i just now called them back and someone answered and all i had to do was say i wanted to block my number and they asked for my name then they confirmed my number. hope this helps :)

I get 3-4 calls a day from this #. Its a cruise line that says you won a trip. All you have to do is pay port taxes on your credit card. I didnt know how to stop them so i put them on my call reject list that sends them straight to voicemail

I actually spoke with them and yes they say you entered to win a cruise, only I haven't and when I pointed that out they said well I was eligible anyway. Rambled on and on about the cruise and all I would have to pay were the port taxes, so which credit card did I want to use. I told them I didn't want to and they still keep calling. I feel like it is a scam.

It is a cruise line who is trying to get money out of you.  I answered and got scammed and ever since then I get calls every day from random and unknown numbers.  They never leave a message, so I have no idea what the other calls are about.
