I received the same message and number for an item I had for sale on craigslist. I e-mail him back without information and told him I would accept cash only. I am in Missouri. I am contacting craigslist.

A scammer contacted me regarding items I was offering on Craigslist and provided the phone number:

I will also need you to provide me with the following information to facilitate the mailing out the payment to you and i will want you to get back to me immediately you receive the payment so that i can contact my shipper for the pick-up at your location.
NOTE: If i dont interested on this Furniture i can't contact you.
I want you to get back to me with the necessaries details so that i can send you the payment ASAP.
