I received a call from them twice today with no VM...so now...they are in my contacts under the name SPAM with about 7 other numbers that go directly to VM without ringing...makes it easier to deal with since they don't leave messages and I don't have to bother with checking my phone.

Have been calling for more than 3 weeks. Number reported to no call list after first call and they still continue to call. Should be some. Way to stop them !!!!!!! Apparently signing up for no calls is worthless !!!!!!!

General Electric has a FaceBook page and was informed about this illegal telemarketing crime. They posted a response- saying to report the scammers to ?Interlogix Customer Service at (855) 286-8889?.
FTC Report
?General Electric? is at the top of the ?home security? scammer list-
An open message to General Electric Security Solutions. IF you?re NOT in anyway part of the billions of illegal robo-calls, sometimes with caller id?s showing ?GE home security? THEN you?d better get on the ball, and help put these scum in jail. IF you ARE RESPONSIBLE, consider this a message alerting the FTC, and all Consumers that you are all CRIMINALS, violating TCPA, TRS, and RICO Laws.
602-753-9864 is reported to be ?GE Security? using boiler-room criminals in Phoenix, AZ.

More info from 800Notes posts;
?Most of these calls are from authorized dealers of one of the major alarm system companies (add- GE Security, ADT, Monitronics, Vivint, etc.). These companies perform "free" installations of security systems conditioned upon signing an extended monitoring contract with the alarm system company. The dealer is then compensated for the sale by the alarm company.
These "authorized dealers" are permitted and encouraged to advertise aggressively under the alarm company's banner, and are notoriously abusive telemarketers.
They are careful not to reveal the company's true identity until after you have been "qualified" as a sales lead, if ever. Properly prosecuting them requires answering the call and "feigning interest" long enough to get a live representative on the line and convincing that person to admit who they work for. Sometimes it is necessary to go as far as making an installation appointment and photographing the installer and his or her documentation.?
?You should see the look on their faces when I pull out my camera after first getting their biz card and contract - often appointments are the only way to find out who actually called or on whose behalf a call was made. An ADT dealer junk faxed my former office - got a lead generator's # from the salesman - it seemed as if there were 3-4 layers to get through to find out who actually sent the fax. Monitronics has known for years, as has Dish Network, that many of their sales come from illegal telemarketing - it will be good to see some more published appellate decisions on this topic.?

General Electric FaceBook Response;
It has come to our attention that some consumers have received calls from telemarketers selling GE Security equipment. These callers are not from GE, and depending on their conduct, could be in violation of state and federal regulations regarding telephone solicitation. Please report any improper telemarketing of GE Security products to Interlogix Customer Service at (855) 286-8889.

recorded call representing G E Security. I live in a condo tower. I don't have a yard.

They called my old cell phone number so apparently, their info isn't as up to date as they think.
Guy 2013-04-24 16:57:05 Telemarketer
Called my Cell - I didn't answer as I recognized number from before as a spam/TM'er. No use in getting upset as these type calls are frequent from many sources. And you can forget about Do Not Call lists - there are so many exclusions and stretchable exceptions (e.g.; have a prior business relationship with you or your family or your employer or your girl friend or relative or government etc etc.). Hopefully, someone will develop a 'jammer' phone so you can call the number back, hit a button or character, and let it redial it
every 30 seconds for 24 hours with a recorded , Chinese message or something...<->:-)

Seattle number called Florida at almost 9 p.m. Not about to buy anything over the phone at that hour, especially after being woken up. Do people not know what common sense is anymore?

Over 660 calls from scamers such as this in a year. picked this one up as i have son in Wa. state. GE secrity co. pressed 1 and told gal that answered that it was illegal to call my phone as it was on the do not call list, which by the way is a joke. Will not answer this number again. Fed up with all the scammers and robo calls.
Donita MMC 2013-04-10 23:48:02 Unknown
Got call, did not answer, Called the number and got some Opt-out recording. Says it takes 24-72 hours for my name to get off their calling list.

?GE Security? has a Facebook page, but you will have to join the blog to post anything. Report them right on the FTC & FCC Facebook pages. The Feds know many Consumers are reading the posts and maybe, just maybe something will be done about it.

five minutes after my co-worker answered he cell phone from a local area number (Dan from GE Home Security), I received a automated call from 206-445-6351 telling me that there is high criminal activity in my area and if I press 1 they will give me a "SMALL" sign to put on my lawn or press 2 to be removed.
Shane 2013-04-04 17:19:52 Unknown
Just got a call from this number a few mins ago. Called it right back and it directed me to a voice automated machine. I verified the number that called me and then verified my number and it said that I was removed from the call list for that number. Don't know if it will work, but give it a try.

I block this number every how ever many days before Verizon takes them off the list on an auto-expiration. They will call daily, multiple times a day with a burglar alarm scam. AVOID/IGNORE and MOST IMPORTANTLY... REPORT!!!
