I got the same call. Said to take the $100 to western union. Glad I looked online

I got q call from this number just now with the same I formation but my guy says his name is Eric Williams. It's a SCAM!!! I don't trust it!!! They call unknown and then give u the number to call their " department"  and it's them again.

these people have been calling me for about a month or so and i kept igoring it.. so finally yesterday i decided to pick up and they told me i selected to get $6000 grant..the guy's name was James something but i couldn't  really understand him because he had a thick indian accent..then i asked him this isn't a scam right (of course he is not going to tell me it is) and he tells me no it's not a scam and i asked him if he could send me proof through the mail and he said he doesnt have the authority to do so and i asked if he could he e-mail me the info and he told me he cannot..then he tells me about the western union process he's telling me something $100 but i couldn't understand because of his accent(now im reading people's comments i know the $100 is about) i told him i don't want to get in trouble for this or anything and that i'm skeptical about it and he told me do not worry the money is real..so i told him i want to call the IRS and he gives this # that starts with 804 so i call and no answer and the answering machine is this lady with an english accent...so the person calls me back and he said he is with the irs (no he is not i think he's in the scam too) and his name is daniel clineer and he tells no it's not a scam so i believe him because he said he's with the irs and he gives a website usagovbranch.gov so i look it up and there's no such website... and to think today i was going to do it until i saw all these comments
