I just received a call from this same number...Adam with an Indian accent...same line of crap as listed above.  Said he was from Planet Online Services..  When I called the number back he answered the phone as said "Windows Service Center" when he answered....  I told him he should be a shamed of himself trying to steal people's money...told him he was a fraud and scammer....

hmmmm.... my guy's name was George from Planet Online Services out of DC...

Just recieved a phone call from "Austin" (MAN W/ INDIAN ACCENT) who claims to be with the IT department at windows. He claims my computer has downloaded harmful software, I found this funny because neither of my windows PC's are registered, and when I started pressing him for some answers the call disconnected.

Ditto on the above. Man with Indian accent says my computer was downloading stuff, etc. I asked where he was calling from, said Wash DC and company is called Planet Online Services and they are one of 55 companies that does this for Microsoft and they are BBB accredited. Gave ph#206-456-1962. Found 9 BBB complaints in Cali that the company did not respond to and searched the ph# and found this link. I advised to call someone else since I am not stupid enuff to give him any info.

Just received a call from "Johnson" with an Indian accent with the same scenario as the two posted here but his company's name is Planet Online service...also searched by phone which led me to these posts.

I just received the same kind of call from a gentleman who had an Indian ascent, his name was Austin, from Windows Service Center.  He gave me the same line of information, but I'm too wise to fall for those type of scams.  Did a research on the phone number and found your post, just thought I would add my $.02...

James Sanderson with an Indian Accent called and said he was from the "Technical Dept. from your computer" advising me that they are getting information that my computer is downloading some 'junk' and he will help me fix it.  I asked for the name of his company and he said "Fixsmith". After asking him he told me he was calling from Washington, D.C.  I asked how he knew what my computer was downloading and he said because I was a general customer of Windows.  I told him I was going to research his company on the internet and I'd call him back and he gave me the number 206-456-1962 to return his call.  Caller ID says unknown caller.
