You are claiming people need to pay their bills and get off the computer.  Well, if you pay your bills good for you. :)  But why are you on this site, bellyaching on a phone number you are claiming you don't receive calls from....get a life.

I am here because I check all phone numbers that come into my phone, legitimate or a mistake doesn't matter.  I pay my bills too.  But I don't berate others cause you know what "life" happens and sometimes payments get missed.  Again...LIFE happens.

I stand corrected.  I called Swedish directly. They confirmed the number was theirs.  I then called and they, Swedish is abating 45% of old pre Feb 2013 balances if one can pay by December 15th.  They told me there was an insert (which I don't read inserts) with a previous statement telling of the offer.  I couldn't get my credit card out fast enough. Even though i am on a payment plan that would have paid the balance off in 4 months, my accounts qualified.

Received a call. Reverse directory shows Voice over IP.  I refused.  Same person that called this morning and left message answered at 6 PM. How likely is that?  They asked that I confirm information. I said "sure what do you have, I'll confirm"  They knew the HIPPA lingo but provided nothing that isn't available from the internet.  I responded "well, we're at an impasse aren't we".  

Call from Swedish Medical Billing. They want to clear up their previous year accounts. Informed me that, if I payed it off by December 1st this year, they'd cut my bill by 45%. It is a good deal for me!

If they want me to pay my bill, they shouldn't ask questions that they should know the answers to & act as though they are HIPAA related.  I know HIPAA & they are hiding behind it...

Swedish is the name of a hospital group. They are trying to get money for hospital/doctor bills.

This number DOES belong to Swedish Medical Billing, they're always calling me trying to get me to pay off more of my bill.

Looks like a phishing call. Called themselve "Swedish Medical Billing." Immediately asked for personal information... unverifyable number. I'd call Swedish directly.
