Now they load up my answering machine.

calls here and left no message  usally i dont  pick up on numbers i  do not  know  and let my answering  machine  do the jog  but they  hang up anyways  im on a  do not call list and  i know this had to be  a scam  the  number came  up on m caller is 206-496-000 from a wireless caller

Always check your phone Caller ID first and if the caller is not a friend, your employer or business you know and trust, or from your local calling area, then never answer the phone ... let it ring while you go do something else. Your State's Do Not Call List and the Federal Do Not Call List mean absolutely nothing to these criminals. I'm surprised at the number of people that answer these scam calls ... are people really that dumb or clueless about scams?! Apparently people really are that ignorant about phone scammers after reading some of these comments.

They call every day.    Caller ID says card care.  There is recording and I hang up.  Very annoying.  I am in do not call registry so please stop calling or I will report you !!!

its a wireless number government cant do s*** about it, i just had service installed and ive gotten one from this number and one for long distance service and im paying each month for a private number

called an hour ago, ID says it's a wireless call. we don't answer unknown calls anymore, just send them to the fax machine. hopefully it will stop them from calling us when they get white noise in their ear.

P.S.  NEVER answer the phone and, by all means, NEVER EVER press 9....EVER!  You will NOT "get them."  They do NOT care if you are on the Do Not Call list, so don't bother.

The low interest credit rate is for their own "credit card" that is only good with their merchandise catalog.  It is a scam.

called and hung up. Reversed looked it up and it came back as a telemarketing firm. with all these complaints why isn't something done. it seems complaining is worthless also

We are on the no call list.  Take our number off your list and do not call again.

Credit card lower rate--I told them I was interested and listened as long as it took for them give give their crappy pitch and then said it sounded good and ask them to hold a minute. I laid the phone down and they held for about 3 minutes before they hung up. FUN

got the call today, pressed 9 and asked to be removed from database, CSR disconnected the call......jerk!

Scam. I no longer have credit cards, actually defaulted on all of them. Certainly won't be getting lower interest rates anytime soon .

Because companies buying phone number databases are required by law to scrub their lists on a regular basis. At my previous employer our scrubbed lists were valid for only 7 days, then you had to scrub again.  All DNC numbers are identified and there are plenty of scrubbing applications in the market. That's how they're supposed to know.

That won't do any good.  Its a computer.  AUTODIALER  When you answer it puts you on the valid phone number list.  DON'T ANSWER AND N E V E R  PRESS ANY BUTTONS ON YOUR PHONE  The DNC list is a scam also.  Think about it.... How in the world are the millions of companies and sales people to know you are on the DNC list???????????????????  These people have  been fined for hundreds of thousands of dollars, yet people keep answering their calls  and get scamed.

Got another call from this number today. This time it woke up a sleeping baby. Next time they call I'm going to pick up the phone, lay it on the table and walk away. We are on DNC list and these jerks are in violation.

They left a message about lowering credit card rates.  Caller ID showed Wireless Caller.  Just what we want, get credit from somebody on a cell phone.

Did not answer and left no voice mail.

It is an automated message stating that it is the final notification that they can help lower my credit card interest rates. I refuse to answer for numbers I do not recognize, but I have received multiple calls and messages have been left on my machine.

I did not pick up. Caller did not leave message. Caller ID said Customer Services.

Perhaps we should petition congress to pass a sheep protection bill. These passive animals at least provide us with wool. They're infinitely more valuable than phone scammers!

Left recorded message asking to press '9' key for connection to a representative to reduce credit card rates.

Call multiple times from 206-496-0000, caller ID just says Toll Free Number. They ring and ring and ring. Left VM saying lower your CC rates. Please make them stop calling those on "DNC" list!

got a call from a dummy as they did not speak although the lin was open.

I never answer calls from unknown numbers.  I'm guessing people such as these only have two purposes in life...1) trying to scam you out of your money and 2) having sex with sheep.

Just got this call today.  No message.  Have gotten calls from this number a while back.  

We got new phones and we can BLOCK any numbers we don want.  If they call, it rings once and says "CALLER BLOCKED"!!  I LOVE IT...

It really makes me so angry with all the calls that come from telemarketers, especially the recorded messages!!  Grrrrr!!
