A Mr.Matthews from publisher clearing house ?????called 12/10/13 am (yeah right).  Sounded like he was slow or still asleep.
What good does it do to be on the "do-not-call" list.  How in the world do these people get your phone
number after you register for the do-not-call list. My advise:  JUST HANG UP!!!! Or don't answer a # you don't recognize.
I usually never answer but I made this mistake this one time.  He didn't get past giving me his name & PCH and I hung up.

I just got a call today where he said I got 3rd place in PCH (which I've never entered).  He asked if I shop at Walmart or Walgreens and I said yet.  He asked when I could go to Walmart and I put him off.  He asked for some personal info to prep my "check".  He asked for my name and I asked him why he didn't already have it.  He must have my name if he has my phone number......anyway, not sure whether I'll call back to jerk him around or just blow him off....

Just received a call from this number and was told he had a UPS delivery of a check for 1,000,00.00$ I told him to stop calling me, but he kept on speaking. I said "do you want me to report you?" and he said "I don't give a f****" I hung up.

Got a call from this number, quickly googled it as i was on my computer. I saw this board and Ignored it. Thanks guys!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House, with my prize of $1.5M and a Mercedes.   They asked if I was at work or home, and if I had received any calls from Publishers Clearing House before this call.  The man claimed to be John Peterson, however when I asked him to spell his name, he said just put John P.   I said if this is a legit call he should be able to spell his last name -- he said Pequ -- and I knew it was fraud!  Don't give them any personal information or any credit card numbers!

That exact same thing just happened to me today! and I was like...Right!!! I won $850,000.00???? and hung up! After I hung up I thought...I should told him that if he was for real that i was going to take all his info and give it to my dad who is a cop to run a check on it. Lol!

Wow... they're busy at work in Jamaica today. I got my call from this same number. Its funny how their stories change!

I JUST recieved a call from a "Robert Cooper" from this number who had a heavy Jamaican accent. He said he worked for Publisher's Clearing House and that I had just won 850,000$ and a free shopping spree from Foodland. (I had to ask twice what I won and he got irritated he had to repeat himself) I knew it was a scam so I played with him for a little while and got all the numbers he said were important for me to claim my prizes. A Check #, a security code, an ID #, and a Lucky #.
He instructed me to go to the nearest Walgreen's and get a "green money back card" and to pay for shipping and handling so that I could recieve my prize. He asked me to go to Walgreens immediately and told him I was at work and would head down as soon as I was done "in a few hours". He seemed hesitant to let me off the phone but I promised I would call him back when I was at Walgreens.
HAHA I love scamming a scammer!

Don't fall for this trap! I didn't give any info except insuring him I was an American citizen.

This number called my cell phone today.
The speaker had a very heavy accent so I could not understand what he was saying.
I thought he dialed the wrong number.
When I finally heard that a "cashier's check" was being sent to me today; I smelled a scam and hung up.

this Number just called me and stated i had won 4 million dollars and a new Mercedes Benz, i already knew it was a scam, they told me to go to the nearest Walmart and make a money order.. i told them no and they threatened to kill me.. crazy people

Stating that I won a cashiers/certified check with their company.  That was the "nature of their call".

When I called them back, it said "Telus" on the call display....odd.
