They call but don't leave a message. I don't answer if I know it's this kind of idiots.

Next time they call, ask them to "Hold on, Please."  Put down the phone and walk off.  Onece you hear the beep-beep-beep from the phone company, you know it is time to hang up your handset.

Flaming a***oles keep calling again and again and again. The 206-496-XXXX exchange numbers keep changing for the last 4 digits, so they must have bought a block of a thousand numbers. I don't have enough Call Block numbers on this phone to keep up with them all. Today they are doing home security systems. If we get one number shut down, they just keep calling from the next number on the list.

This is another scam to get your info.  Your credit card companies do no hire people to offer a reduced payment.  You have to call their "hardship department" and have a valid excuse to reduce payments.  These people get your credit card info and bank info (how I don't know) and then you have to cancel all cc's and ck acct to keep from being ripped off.

If you are have financial problems, call your creditor.  They will not call you.  They will send you a letter requesting payment.

I keep getting these calls.  It is a SCAM.  I fell for it once.  Had to cancel my credit cards, contact my bank to bar the fee they were charging (how did they get my banking #?), reported it to the Attorney General office.  And they also use 206-496-0421 Gov Loan Mod.

Just got a call from 206-496-0401 and when I answered it, they hung up right away, tried to call it back and the number was busy......

Called, left no message. I am on the dnc list also and my house is paid for and so are all my vehicles so don't need any payment reduced or debt consolidation s***!

Telemarketers wanting credit card and social security information for identity theft. I am on do not call list, also, but that does no good. The harassment continues.

Call from 206-496-0401 with no response. After about 1 min. ?? hung up. Suspect it was a collection agency, typical pattern.

More crazy criminals trying to get credit card and social security information.

Caller ID shows this call as "Payment Reduced" but recorded voice said we entered to win a free home security system.  Press 1 to receive......and the list went on to tell us what we won.  Press 2 to be removed from call list.  I hung up and reported to DoNotCall.gov. as we are on the do not call list.  I usually answer the phone and blow a whistle as loud as I can into it but this time didn't have the whistle near me.  I don't get as many calls by blowing the whistle into their ear.

The National Do Not Call Registry is a joke.  It's obviously run by a bunch of obese know nothings who are simply taking tax payer dollars and immediately waddling off for a Big Mac.  Next time you file a complaint with them, go to the comment section and ask them if they actually do anything to protect the privacy of individuals.  I'm tired of all the bogus crap calls I receive and since I can't actually kill all the worthless telemarketers who do call (which I would totally enjoy!) Got a call at 6:35 PM.  Didn't answer, let it go to voice mail.  No message.

Just received a call on SUNDAY evening at 6:30...isn't there some type of law that prohibits telemarketing on Sundays.

don't call here without a caller ID and a voice mail message. If you're a debt collector, don't call at all, we don't have any outstanding debts that need to be addressed At All.

No message left on voice mail, just a hang up.  On national DNC list - guess it doesn't matter.

Got a call today from this number, no one there when I answered.

No message left when call went to voice mail. I dont answer calls from unknown or suspicious numbers. Im also on DNC List, for all the good it does. Didnt report it this time since it was first call from this number. Next call will be reported. NOTE: when the number shows up a 4th time, I answer and wait for a human. Then I blast the hell out of my police whistle. Has stopped some, and some needed to hear the whistle a 2nd time!!

I got dozens of calls from telemarketers.  I found what works.  First, look at the caller I.D., if you don't know the number calling, DO NOT ANSWER, let it go to the answering machine.  NEVER call back.  If they never get a response, they stop calling.  Occasionally I get a few new numbers calling, but they stop calling because I DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THEM AND NEVER CALL BACK.

Caller I.D. showed "Payment Reduced" and the number.   I let it ring twice and then pushed the talk button on the phone.  Then pushed the end button on the phone.  No way I was going to answer and you can't reason with these people.  Should be more choices than the do not call list.  Which doesn't seem to work in Florida.

These predators, driven by greed, want any personal information they can get.  DON'T ANSWER!

Another illegal solicitation call from someone with whom I have never done business. Claim to reduce my payments. I hung up.

11/30/2011: This number--206-496-0401--called today at 6:44 p.m. Caller ID: "Payment Reduced."  No message.  I'm on DNC list and have been for years.
