I GOT THIS CALL TODAY...ANNOYED.

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who is in the primary business of facilitating unsolicited telemarketing.

I have had several calls from this number. Caller ID says it's a # in Seattle, Wa.  If I let the answering machine pick up they do not leave a mssg. I have answered the phone a few times when they call and there is just a disconnect sound and the phone hangs up.  

When you guys say, "If you stay on long enough they can pinpoint you."  What are the implications of this? I was definitely on the phone for several minutes with a guy from a "warranty center"  (Gresham, OR 971-220-1392) to see what all he would ask me.  >:-O

I am the CFO and Operations Manager of American Auto Shield.  This company is mentioning our name, but it is NOT our company.  If anyone has any information on who this company actually is, please contact me at 800-531-1925 so we can explore legal action against this company.  Thank you.

Older, gruff Man with no discernible accent, amidst the background of a group of people.
Man: Hello, hello?
Me: * Did not respond*
automatic message machine: You have been kicked from this conference call.

I called back to request an explanation.

Second call:
automatic message machine: Hold on while we transfer your call.
*call waiting classical music plays*
Me: *hangs up*

I hope they didn't pinpoint my location because not only was I at home at the time that I picked up the phone, but I called back whilst at home! :/

They called in at 12:49 DST on 11/30/2011 and never said a word, shortly thereafter they hung up, a "call back" to that number said "that number can not be reached"

206-496-0418 called my home number six times in ten days. I called back, it was a telemarking firm for Auto Shield regarding an expired policy that came with a Jeep Grand Cherokee my wife bought from Auto Max five years ago. Easy way I stopped the calls: I told them the car was totaled in an accident. (I resisted the temptation to add that the accident was due to me running down a small group of Auto Shield telemarketers who were crossing the road).

Just received a call fm this number...my caller ID showed "Service Info"..a man with a Middle Eastern (Indian) accent asked for my wife...when I offered to take a msg, he politely declined & said he would call back...I called back & another man (no noticable accent) answered with the name of a vehicle warranty company (don't remember exact words)...I explained that I just received an unsolicted call from this number and that since I was on the "Do Not Call" register, I wanted my number removed from his company's listings...his reply "Certainly my friend"...we'll see?!?

On 11/16 - Didn't Answer because I didn't know phone number.  Answering machine picked up and recorded this slurred message:  "This is Bob Stoned in the warranty department I've been trying to reach you to inform you that the warranty has expired on your vehicle.  Please give me a call at 209-496-0418 to discuss renewal options.  Ah, my number again is 209-496-0418.  You can reach me between 9 and 5 am eastern standard time."  The message had a hollow tin sound and the voice was slurred, thus "STONED".  At first I didn't know what this was about.  I had to listen to it a second time- Annoyed......but now it's saved on my phone for entertainment purposes!

Rec'd call from 206-496-0418 @ 6:59pm, EST.  I answered the phone, heard music and was disconnected.  I then called the number back and got a message, "please stand by for an important message".......

I hung up & blocked the phone number on my phone.

OK any ideas for an alternate phone number to call, To try to stop these calls?

left a message on the phone in a garble tone,saying the warranty on the car expired. left his name Bob Stone and this number. I just wish an undercover agent would call all these annoying numbers and then have them arrested.

I have received numerous... 2-3 times per day... for the last several weeks. They say that the warranty on my car has expired and ask if I'd like to renew. I started off nice then resorted to yelling and begging them not to call any more. Today it was an automated message leaving the phone number. I called and asked for a supervisor and was hung up on... 4 times. I finally got someone claiming to be the floor manager. I asked if they could stop calling me. He said they will call until I hear the options. I said I didn't need options as I'm trading in the car. He laughed and said "sure". I resorted to begging them not to call. He and several others laughed and said they will continue calling as often as necessary. This is harrassment! So frustrating!

Said the Warranty on my vehicle had expired. *this is a business line they called on* The call was unclear and hard to understand. The mans voice was older and unclear.

Have recieved calls from this number frequently. Once was just a hang up, once got the automated "goodbye" and several times asking for my husband. On the hang up I called it back and got someone telling me it was about the 'vehicle warranty' on my husbands vehicle expiring.

They have been calling twice a day for a week or more.  I just thought I would answer the call this morning and maybe put a stop to them, lol.  When I said "Hello" guess what, they hung up right away.  Guess I shook them up.  Will go back to not answering any calls  from any number or name I don't know.

I just got a call and no one answered. Right befor it hung up I heard an automated "goodbye" like you would hear on your voicemail. I'm not sure what it is but would be curious to know.

I got a call from this number, and they asked for a lot of information regarding my vehicle.  Registration State, expiration, licence plate number, VIN, address of record of registered owner, make, model, year.  

Of course I hung up, but they refused to identify themself until I did, and I wouldnt, so I am not sure what the company was.  The only thing they would say was that they were a computer processing company.

I got a call from this number, and when I called back, they actually answered!  The first words out of the speaker's mouth were, "Please provide the details of your vehicle."

Rest of conversation:
Me:  "What.  Who Are You?"

Him:  "We are a computer processing company.  For identification and security, please give me the license plate, VIN, State of registration, date of expiration of tags, and address of record of the owner, make, model, and year."

Me:  "Are you seriously asking me for that information.  I don't know you."

Him:  "I don't know you either, and I cannot identify you unless you provide this."

I hung up at that point.  Thank God (literally) that I had called him while at a restaurant having lunch not in my home town, on my cell phone.  

If you return this call from a home phone or are actually in your home when you call them, they CAN pinpoint your location, even if you are on the cell phone, if you stay on the phone long enough.

Recommend anyone report these calls, and don't return them.

No response when I answered, happened this way twice; not answering any more calls from them.

Claimed to be Integerity Auto Shield but actually telemarketing firm out of Seattle.  Contacted Integerity and they denied knowledge of telemarketing firm or that they had contracted with them.  Reported to Federal and Texas for violating Do Not Call List.
