The best course of action to take with the scammer calls is to find out what telephone service they use and report Fraud/Abuse to them directly. It can be found online usually.
The Do Not Call Registry is a fraud and a waste of taxpayer's money. If they actually DID anything to stop these calls to the public there would be a decrease in them, NOT AN INCREASE!!

You are sooooooo correct, jetyames.   The Federal "Do Not Call List"  is absolutely useless.
 Unless and until our unresponsive political reps are also bothered by these telemarketers, nothing will be done to protect the everyman/woman.

I never answer unless I have to, (expecting a call and ID unknown). It would be nice if these calls could be forwarded to the FCC, (Federal Communications Commission). Actually to a local congressman would be nice too. I bet some laws would be flying through the Senate and House after that.

Same thing happened to me.  They call almost every 2 days and I keep trying to be removed from their list but they hang up when I tell them I'm not interested in a credit card, please remove me from your list.

Robo-dialed my home # at 11:01am.  Picked up knowing it was a telemarketer.  No one was there!  Blocked the number.

I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.

NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.   THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!

We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone!

Received a call at 2pm today, with caller ID showing "Customer Help." A recorded message offered me a final chance to reduce the APR on my credit cards, providing I owed at least $3,000 combined on one or more cards, and that I had at least one card in good standing. (I do not have any credit card debt.)  The only option following the recorded pitch was to press 1 to speak with an agent. I pressed 1 and immediately got a live person, who said: "Hello, this is Shawn, how are you today?" My prompt response was: "I wish to be put on your Do Not Call list."  He instantly disconnected the call without another word spoken.
Like most of you, I, too, am on the national Do Not Call list.

I get daily calls threatening me about credit cards they've tried to reach me my phone and mail.  When you push 1 after the recording you get rude men who call you an idiot and say your are crazy because you ask what credit card company they're with then they hang up.  When I redialed the  last call it says it something to do with the cancer society and the 2nd time it says its another charity organization. This company or people need to be arrested and put in jail.

We are also registered on the no call list.  I do not understand how they can get away with it.  There are lots of phone numbers that seem to be getting away with it.

Trying to sell a lower interest for credit cards, blah blah blah. I pressed 1 to talk to a "friendly customer service agent" and got Jason who hung up on me when I asked not to be called again. SCAM!!!!

This number keeps calling,  very annoying,  but no one on the other end if you say hello.   I tried calling back the same number and a recording comes on and said that voice mailbox is full!!   This is so annoying,  calls all hours of day and night leaving no message.  Can;'t be too important!

Whats really sad is you put yourself on the Do Not Call list and these people still manage to get around it. You can report it but the people at the Do Not Call list do nothing about it. I reported them several times along with a lot of other numbers and nothing ever gets done. Oh well.

Got a call from this number at 6:55 pm EDT on 2 May 2012. It was a recorded message that it was my last chance to consolidate credit card debt - I only wish! Pressed 1 to speak with rep. They hung up on me when I asked to be put on DNC list. I called the number back, after many rings got a recording saying press 1 to be added to their DNC list, which I did. We'll see.

Automated message with not option to be removed.  Only option is to select 1 for sales.  Total harassment from this phone number by calling every day.

Answered -- automated msg about a "last notice" from "cardholder services" and mail sent to me was  unanswered.

Received this call today....Caller ID said "Card Services" and "This is the last time we are going to contact you before we close our file on your account"

They called again today; notation on the phone said: customer help.  It's changed from dental insurance to credit card services.  Reported them to FTC.

I donnot want calls from the above phone number.  the will call at 10:30pm and that should be against the law

Once or twice daily calls and hang ups from this number.  I never pick up.  Says, 'Cust Help.'  Reported to DNC site.  For all the good that does.

This # calls daily, offering "lower interest rates if you owe more than $3000."

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago.  Caller ID says customer help.  The phone rang 2 times, I answered, no response and  they hung up.  I'm also on the Do Not Call government list, but that doesn't seem to matter to the callers, usually robo-calls.

I just got a call saying card services and my last chance to....... I don't know what because I hung up but my phone has the ability to block numbers and it is now blocked but they will just call from a different number I am sure.
