Here's what I do when these clowns call:  
if you don't recognize the number, DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE !

These people are violating the FDCPA collection laws BIG TIME!!,  Do not give them any information or pay them anything.  They are trying to scare you into paying them.  They tried the same with me, called my husband, told him they were officers of the court (illegal per the FDCPA) and would be serving me papers at my home and work (another violation of the FDCPA).  They cannot collect on something that is no longer owed.  I paid my debt and they can threaten all they want.  I don't owe it and not only that the statute of limitations in my state has be reached so even if I don't pay, there is absolutley nothing they can do to me.  I called them, told them that I knew the laws and that they can't do anything, I also told them I reported them to the Attorney General (which I did) the guy cursed me out then hung up on me, don't believe anything they are telling you they are scammers and liars, don't fall for it!!

Says I owe a balance on payday loan. Keeps calling my husband. Says he will sue me and have cops come get me. I do not owe this company and I would appreciate if they stop calling me.

These guy's called my kids cell looking for me a number that is not listed and when I called tried to tell me i owed a debt what I crock.  Very hostile and threatening company beware....

Justin called me too. Started yelling through the phone telling me to pay my bill and threatening to serve me at my job.

do they not get the hint?  A guy calls from 3 different phone #'s, all come up as National Service on caller-ID.
He wants to speak to one of my employees.  Told him she no longer works here, that she got fired for receiving too many phone calls from "you people".  He then wanted her termination date, and said that she had filled out an application and left it on his desk - he was "just following up" on her place of employment.  Told him she was terminated 2 months ago (even tho she wasn't), and he hung up, then called back from a different phone number!  What an a**

calls my office # repeatedly, but hangs up as soon as I answer???

Also just rcvd a phone call from this, did not answer went to VM -  Only thing that was said was a totally different # to call back and my name twice -

This guy named Justin from this number constanly calls me and my work place. Him and his supervisor were terribly rude and hangs up on me alot. I try to explain my situation and they say they can careless becasue "their client" wants there money. My situation went from bad to worst when my roommate passed away 3 weeks ago and now i have to pay all the home bills alone. Since im military they threaten to call my leadership all the time. Situation is out of hand and I wish they'd stop the harrassment.

I said send me a bill! This guy was breaking 5 laws in 15 min. I told him that and i will be seeing him in court. The guy said you hear a click then hung up. He called back again. they can only call one time a day. I told him that by law. He ask me how i know my laws? i said my aunt works for a debt collection. After that i never got a call LOL they can not call your work without a court order! If they do take them to court and sew them.

This number called my phone insisting he talk to me he was so rude when I answered and asked may I ask whos calling that I said he had the wrong he kept going on telling me he knew my address and what state I was in I then asked again who was calling he refused to tell me

Was called by a woman who turned it to a guy named Justin. He said in short if I didnot pay a debt he was in effect going to ruin my credit. I was never contacted before now. He offered to "bang" me to satisfy the debt. I told him he was being unprofessional and insisted to talk to his supervisor. He hung up on me.

Remember, the moment this a**hole makes an y kind of threat, including the police knocking down your door, he's vioated the FDCPA, FACTA, and FCBA. Now you can sue him and the creditor. If the creditor has charged off the account and sold it to the collection agency, you may not have to pay anything. Even if you do, the lawsuit should discharge the debt. If the collection agency is acting as an agent for the original creditor, call them and thank them for the experience and advise them that you will now sue them under the above federal laws. That should get some write offs. Remeber though, not getting over your head in debt will assure that all this work is unnecessary.

A guy named Joe Fox calls EVERY day from this phone number. Extremely rude and harassing and will not listen to ANYTHING I have to say. He talks right over you. Tried to explain to him that he should call his client because the matter is cleared up but he REFUSES to listen. I have blocked his number from my cell but still calls my home #.  I thought this was illegal if you tell them to notify you only by mail.

It is not ok to call me on this number.

I got a call from them saying something about my drivers license?

calls my house all the time telling me i lost my cell phone and i put a claim on it ,never lost my phone also told me that i contacted him on feb. 6th on this matter.when i told him this is not who your looking for he got a little agetated with me so i told him never to call this number again or else and he hung up... who is this guy ? pissed me off.....

Guy has my work number and cell number says his name is Joe Fox..

Getting calls from NATIONAL SERVICES from 1-206-533-0877 claims to be debt collector for a payday advance? Phisisng for information.

I received a call asking for a person and I and was suspicious I said if you have a claim and you have a name you must have a mailing address (send what ever business you have in the mail hint hint). I said "this number is on do not call list" remove it from your call list. Response from caller "Michael Price" was to laugh snarkily and say "so what." What a loser.

for over 3 years ive been getting calls for Marie Shepard.i tell them (no such person here). the calls stop for a couple months, then start all over again..

Yes they are debt collector and rude.

A guy named Joe called me from this number, I called back and a lady answered the phone, "Service Bureau." From previous posts I know it's a collection agency.

this person calls 15 times a day threatens to send cops in to break down your door, take your car and arrest you unless you call back. Never tells who he is and refuses to talk in a normal manner, evern when he was advised he had the wrong number, he then threaten to file fraud charges. Its not my fault he is dialing a worng numer.

i get these calls all the time from them. cant understand  him  and he says he will see me in court and i have no chance of winning. he calls with several numbers but the same guy but different names. he says he is collecting from a cash checking places but wont tell you which one just says one of them.  wont send you a statement to let you know which one. he always says good luck i cant help  you. now who would want him to help you????  scammer!!!!!

these people keep calling me too. aaahhhh!!!!! All they can due is try to collect. Placed a filter on my phone telling them that if they need to contact me they can by maill. to stop calling and harrasing me and that i already placed a comp[laint with attorney general. Attorney General stated all they can do is try to collect they cannot harrase n e one

I too have been receiving calls from Mr. Jones.  I was making payments to ER Physicians in AZ and they sent me off to him, guess I didn't pay them quick enough.
Know your rights!  they need to first send a letter and you have 30 days to dispute the debt, I have received no letters from them stating I owe a debt I have only received payment invoices from ER Physicians.  I would not answer or return his rude voice message calls.  He started calling my work and I told him to never call my work again and then as soon as I hung up on him the phone rang and he called wanting payroll I assume for a garnishment which is against the law since there is no judgment against me.  And as I informed Mr. Jones the last payment was sent to ER Physicians yesterday and they are now paid in full.

just got a call from a craig jones just giving me a phone number, saying it is important and asking me to call back.  I don't answer numbers that I don't know and definately won't call a number back without a reason.  I was scammed once and won't have it happen again.  the only identifying informaiton was national service on the call waiting.
