I have this guy claiming to be Larry Moore, he is requesting my address, and a contact number. He is using the email blossom39k@gmail.com
Is this guy for real, or is it a scam?

Same thing with this Larry Moore guy. The scam works like this, you recieve a check he sends for the property . You deposit the check and spend the money , the check then bounces and you owe the bank the amount of the check and if you send him the item your out the item. The check will come back insufficient funds!

Oh, and he's now using the email address zolotolozolo100@gmail.com

I received the same message as well, also from Larry Moore. I responded to him that the item was still available. The reply I received, however, came from a Tommy Richards. I told him that I only accept cash and deal in person, and that it was odd that his name changed and I didn't hear back.

Same thing, sent me an email wanting to send me a check to purchase an item I posted on craigslist. I looked up his email address after I noticed he was messaging me from different email accounts. Looks like he commented on youtube video to purchase some email address collection software designed for botting craigslist and now he's running an interesting little twist on the "secret shopper" scam.

I am selling a Laptop, got a call from Martins Humphrey asking about condition / available .. etc.
I gave him the details and he said he was interested (Not even wanting to see the laptop - First Red Flag)
I went along and gave my account for the EFT, got a notification from ABSA on my phone from the ABSA number as well as email PDF notification of EFT ... and got a call from Martins to ask if I received payment .. Said yes, .. but would like it to reflect in my account first (PLEASE ... ALWAYS DO THIS) later that night I got another call to ask if I had checked my bank ... I had and the payment was marked as "Movements Due" .. again I said I need to wait for this to reflect as PAID and AVAILABLE ..  once the banking system had updated, the deposit reflected as a cheque. .. so .. I still have my laptop, martinshumphrey1@gmail.com is a scam artist .. look for any variation to the name martinshumphrey

I just received the same email from this joker responding to an ad I placed on Craigslist. He used the name Larry Moore with the email larrymoore5990@gmail.com. Why he continues to use this same name in all of these scams is beyond me, but I'm thankful he's so stupid/lazy as it allowed me to confirm my suspicions here that this guy is a fraud.

I'm selling an item online and Larry Moore responded via e-mail stating that he wants to buy it, sight unseen, and asked me to remove my ad so no one else buys it.  He wants my name, address and phone number so he can send me a check via UPS, even though I state I accept cash ONLY.  He also states that he is not available to pick up the item due to the nature of his job so he has engaged the services of a mover.  He also states he's hearing impaired and that I should call 206-666-5255; I did not call him, however.  I'm wondering how he got my e-mail address as this online selling service states that my e-mail address will not be made public.  I'm going to put a block on my e-mail account from this person.  It sounds like a scam to me.

Below is the email I received today, in response to my craigslist ad.  My suspicions arose, as soon as I saw the offer of a "Banker's certified draft," especially as I had indicated in my ad that I accepted CASH ONLY.  Also, what kind of person is "completely satified with the purchase" SIGHT UNSEEN?  How about a SCAMMER?!  And, this transaction would involve several hundred dollars.
"Kellysmart" says, "Kindly delete the posting as am totally committed to buying from you to save cost ..."  What cost???  What is "Kelly" talking about??

Anyway, I will not have any more contact with this individual.

I got the exact same email. Litterally word for word. I didn't realize it was a scam and I gave him my info. Haven't received a check yet and obviously won't cash it but should I be worried about robbery or bodily harm? This is the first time I have used Craigs list.

This Larry Moore guy has a new scam on Craigslist.  This is the email he sent me:
