im visiting seattle and i missed a call from this number. a message comes on that says "this city of seattle is not currently in service"

Its the City of Seattle. They have a trunk line. It could be SPU, Police, etc. Take it the call.

I got a call from this number about 10:30 this morning, missed it cuz I was asleep, and I don't know that I should call this number back.

2 calls tonight spaced 30 minutes apart.  caller id states "Seatle, Washington".  Called the number,the recording stated that it is a valid unused (unassigned) phone number for the city of Seatle

this is the call back number for the wa state patrol's 911 dispatch. when you call 911 and it does not go through or something like that, then this is the number that shows up when they try and call you back.

i got a call today from this number - a man identifying himself as Sgt. Woolery from the Seattle Police Department. he left some false claim that i called there today and he is returning my call. he said to call him if i have any questions.

the only question i have is what kind of idiot makes fraud calls and says he or she is with a local PD. i will report this to the Seattle PD and WA State attny office.

This person keeps calling and not saying anything. I they have called several times.

I got a call from that number also tonight yet they did not leave a message. Did you have any luck on figuring it out?

A woman called me asking for my fiance and identified herself from the Seattle Police Dept regarding a claim he had submitted. I gave her his cell # and she called it and left a message. When we call back, it just rings and rings and it seems suspicious.
