I received a call twice from "Mike Brown" explaining the same type of fundraiser asking for donations for King County Police. Some type of ID program for children? He did give me a number to call back and a website to look them up www.kingcounty.myidclub.org but did not have a e-mail address to provide. Odd. Not sure if its real or fake.

I got a phone call asking to donate money to the king county police. He went on and on about a bracelet detection system for children. When I politely declined, he responded with, "are you aware we are a local organization?" Of course I'm aware of who the king county police are, I live there... I'm suspecting a scam as almost all fundraisers have abandoned the telephone and are using website based donation. I probaby should have said I would donate and see how he wanted to collect the money.

This guy called asking for someone in charge and he mentioned some company name and even said that he was calling from king county police.  He seems to say just about anything to get hold of someone in charge.
When I asked for his name and phone number, he got frustrated and hung up.

I get a phone call from the same guy at least once a day asking for the owner of the business. When I ask to take a message for him he always says no and hangs up. I'm assuming it's not important enough.. aka a sales call. Not sure how to get him to stop calling.
