Same thing happened to me called me 3 times unknown until I answered said it was a survey from us cellular and it was sent to the government for viewing. Upon the call they said I was chose because I was a good citizen and no criminal record etc. that I had been approved for $7,500. They gave me a confirmation # and a phone number of 202-738-4294. And a Samantha answered. She said I couple only get my money if I purchased a green dot money back card and that when I went to purchase the card that I needed to put $300 on it for tax purposes and stay on the phone with her the whole time and once she got the card # and $300 put on it that while I was on the phone w her that she would put the $7,500 on it. I thought this was a scam plus she said if get the $300 back so if have $7,800 on the card but I didn't understand to why if this was for taxes why I would get it back? I told her if have my lawyer contact her an got off the phone.

I got the same thing, same names ,same amounts etc. didn't fall for it.  This is my 4th call this morning from telemarketers, really rough trying to sleep around here!

I received a call from (202) 020-2020 this morning @ 9:00 (CST) telling me that I been chosen to receive grant money in the amount of $6700.  The reason I was chosen is that I have no criminal record, was a good citizen and also asked what  would  I use the money for and not to use it for illegal purchases (lol).  I was given a claim # and was directed to call his supervisor @ (206) 792-9855, ask for Erika Johnson because she has the authority to release my check.  While speaking to this foreign lady, I was told to purchase a Green Dot Money Pak Card, load $350 on it for the taxes I would have to pay on the grant, they just want the number on the card, not the money, and "Erika Johnson" will release my check right away!!  I told her I'd call back when I get $350.....WHAT A SCAM!!!!!   They try to sound legit, but don't fall for it....I don't even believe grant money is taxed....is it?  Ha Ha Ha.....Have a blessed day!

I got a call from this number saying I won grant money, $7000. I told them to send me cash. After all the talking they said in order to get the money I had to load over $200 on a green dot card. I hung up on them

Did you get your money back? If so how? The same thing just happened to me days ago, and I am absolutely beside myself as to what to do. They took my money and I still need to explain to my family why I lost $300 dollars.

I got a call from this number today and they told me that they wanted to give me a loan. I told the lady I didn't want a loan and asked her where she got my cell phone #? She proceeded to tell me (in broken english) "why the f**k did you make me call you if you don't want money?" at first I was like wait she didn't just say that so I said I'm sorry I didn't catch that and she repeated the same thing!! It was actually hilarious to hear this unintelligent little scamming wh**e telling me off in her broken english - I wish I would have recorded it. :(

Listen to this you guys, I have a long story about another f***** scam that happened to me:

David Jones indian guy from 214-814-5828 told me I was approved and need to load Green Dot card with $305 first and give to em over the phone and $5k loan with the good faith $305 money will be wired in 45 minutes. After he got money, another called from different indian guy same number saying before wiring of money, I need to load a Vanilla Card with another $500 for transfer and insurances...we argued about it over and over between 3 calls and eventually gave em $400 instead because that's all I could take from bank that day, he said $5k loan with a total of $705 added opn will now be wired in 15 mins, said hold on, then call disconnected.  A day or 2 later, I called about my money and some indian guy said "awl yea, you must call IRS dept because you're borrowing $5k dawler with fees, they will take care of you before wire money...yea", So he gave me 713-487-6895. Now mind you, by this time after giving up the $705, I had already googled and read everything about these phone numbers how they were scamming everyone out of their money and how the 3rd step will be talking to some 'IRS Dept', so I was prepared.  Called 713#, another indian guy calling himself Kevin Lyde or Lyle claiming to be an IRS rep said I had to pay yet another fee $205 for IRS costs and loan will be wired in 15 mins...I then told em I demand my money be sent back asap or the CIA and FBI who was tracking them will arrest them, he laughed saying I cannot get money back and cursed at me repeatedly. Then they called back repeatedly later in the day and next day saying loan will not fund without IRS fee promising there will be no more fees just as they promised before...so yesterday played a game telling this David character "sure sure, I will hurry and load another Green Dot card then for $205 and call back so I can get my loan wired as soon as I get off train from work". Wow, he called every 10 mins thereafter from 7pm to 8pm prior to me getting home...I called back after 8pm, no answer, because see I had made up a GreenDot money card# very similar to original one I unfortunately gave them first time and was gonna giv him that. Left his makeshift office for the day right? So this morning, he calls me and says"hey Meester John, what happened? I am tryding to wire yur money but you neva call back". Lol, so I say "what?", He repeated himself again, I said, "oh yea, thats' right, let me give you that card#", sounding all interested, "and and uh you will wire my money soon right sir cuz I needs it and with no more fees right?", he said no no, I promise you meester john, no mo fee"...lol, so I gave him fake GreenDot card#, I asked him to then call me back when loan is ready...he said "hold on hold on", cam eback to phone seconds later saying"Hey, Meester John, verify cod#, not working", so I read fake num again, " not working again". Then he had the ordasity to say..."why are you tricking me meester john, you did not load cod with $205 IRS fee, I am trying to help you...this is a wrong cod# you gave me right?" I literally blew up at em and demanded my money back instantly because all calls are being recorded and then I hung up...he calls me back saying I hung up and he doesn't believe me about call record bla bla bla...I told him to give me my money since I do not want loan and receiving no services, he said he will not do that and hung up!!! These guys have what they think is a smooth operation, passing you off from 1 indian guy to the next for each supposed phase in some loan process...THIS HAS GOT TO BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY AND BRING THEM UP ON CHARGES!

This Number Keeps Calling me and Calling me, I have asked them to stop and when I do they hang up. And then call back again like 3 mins later. They said it's for a Credit card but I don't want one They Wont leave me alone!!!!

This number keeps calling my phone and I've asked them to stop multiple times. They finaly tell me they want to give me money and I said I didn't want it over and over again. I also told him he had terrible customer service and in reply I recieved an F U and he hung up!

Can you tell me who the manager is since I had some dude say the same thing to me!

this number has called and called and when i asked them too pleas quit calling me they told me "f*** you" so i told there manager and he said "maam it would be better to f*** off " REALLY ???? IT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF

Got a call from a person speaking poor English claiming to be calling from Florida informing me that I have been approved for a loan up to $3,000.  After investigation of the number it turned out to be a Seattle, Washington number.  Further, I don't believe this person is calling from the United States; I believe it's an overseas scam.  Be ware.

After posting the previous info on my experience today, I found that the 2067929855 number is a valid land line phone number in the Seattle WA area and the service carrier is Qwest Corp. Since David told me to call the number 5 minutes after my call with him I waited longer researched the number and then called.  I got a voice mail recording and was able to leave a message.

Just got a call on my cell number from US Federal Grant Department represented by some hard to understand Indian or Orient guy whose First name is David.  He gave me a grant approval number and told me to call Rex Williams at 206-792-9855 I have been called 2 or 3 times from a number that registers unavailable on caller ID So I answered.

I had call from this # 2067929855 they told me I have win money from government is grand money and the told me to send money to thim on wester union tell me friend is the true or games

I was called numerous times from the number 222-223-3333 (some Percy Jackson) telling me I won grant miney and to call Rex Williams at 206-792-9855. Figured it was a scam.

Its a lie.  There is no prize.  The message was sent by a thief.  He will trick you into giving him money.  He will never give you any money.  

Do not call them.

I was called from 222-223-3333 and asked to call the number listed (206-792-9855). I too was told they had money to give me.

Who is this and why are they wanting to give me grant money?
