I picked up the phone when this number called and got a recorded political solicitation. This type of call is illegal except for those who covertly control your life, like politicians. Apparently WA state law allows recorded calls from politicians and maybe charities, but they are required to give information that this call didn't supply. This is an illegal call in WA state. Too bad we the people can't do anything about it except use a call blocking system.

I have been receiving calls from this number every day. I called back and some man with a middle eastern accent answered with a "hello." I asked him what kind of company it was and he said a payday loan company. I asked him if he could put my number on  the do not call list and he said "yes, I'll put it down" and hung up.

I've gotten about 2 calls a day from this number for the past 3 or so days. I do not answer numbers I don't know. I finally decided to just call the number back. It says it is for "Education Advisors", in response to an inquiry I made about going back to school. I have recently been doing surveys on survey sites for money, and they must have gotten my number from one of those. After the recording stated that all the advisors were busy with other people, it gave the option to press '1' to put the number I'm calling from on their Do-Not-Call list. Definitely did that!

Got a call from some Indian claiming to be collecting for a payday loan I never recieved. He said he was with a government agency but started swearing when I demanded to know what government. TOTAL SCAM!!!

Just received a call from 206-855-4743.  Didn't answer it and waited until they hung up, then called the number within 20 seconds of them hanging up and you guessed it - it's is a DISCONNECTED number.  How do they do this? Any guesses??

I think I know how they are getting my number.  I posted it on internet filling something out.  This must be how they are getting it.  A series of unwanted phone calls from wierd numbers started after March for me.  Here they are:

There is a common denominator between 303 and 603 number.  They both claim to be calling about expired car warranty.

"Warranty Solutions" has contacted me repeatedly from various telephone numbers. I've taken the time to speak to their "customer representative" and tell them (again) to take me off their call list. The calls keep coming. If necessary, I will take the time to go on the offensive and make their operation a lot less easy and troublesome.

This number calls me everyday in school and my high school takes uer phone away thx got i havent got in trouble yet. they have been calling since the begining of april

and i called back and all i heard was a crap-a** recording of sumthing saying this number is nawt in service

and although i find it annoying sumwhat..

its also kinda funny cuz its like the most epic prank call ever lol

and im saying prank call becuz why else would sum1 call so many numbers and nawt give any actual reason why...?

JUST got a missed call from this number. Googled it and found this site, thanks for the info! My cell is also on the do not call list and has been for some time, so I don't understand why I'm receiving this call.

My daughter just received the same call from the same number! She called it back and it said it was disconnected!

Best way to stop this people is if anyone can get the company's name and their location.  Then I can file a report with the FCC!  So, if anyone else gets a call from my disconnected number.  I would appreciated if you would respond to this site with the name of the company and location!

I'm sorry about all these calls.  I can tell you that it wasn't me and I haven't live or had this number for over 4 years!  This used to be my home number but not anymore!

I'm willing to be that "This number has been deactivated" or whatever message is just a voicemail recording to trick people.

received a call about a warranty on my vehicles, they are 12 years old. this call was made to my cell phone 3 times.  i am on the do not call list.

I just received a call from this number, completely unsolicited.  I have a 20 year old vehicle so there is no reason why I should be pursued for an extended warranty.  I called a company called "Warranty Solutions" and they seemed to know that they were being confused with another company that was scamming with the same name.  The receptionist told me that I needed to call and complain to the FTC at 1-877-382-4357.  I filed a complaint, and the person at the FTC complaint line said I was not the first person to file a complaint against this company at this telephone number.

Didn't answer. Probably a warrantee scam. My number is published nowhere. They started days after I got this cell phone

Sorry to say I received these scam also. They are computer generated and impossible to stop and don't answer them or call them back. They are only Temp Phone Numbers that are given a false return number stamp to hide the scam telephone sender true path which is likely a VoIP Phone. Use a phone option to filter area code won't help either because there are too many of these numbers to keep track of and most of phone equipment don't have this option either to make use of this kind of blocking. Somebody should created a computer program to protect Cell phones from scam phone calls much like Verizon's Iobi for home phones because this just like a mental virus or trojen attack on your private world which is an unimportant or nonemergency junk call to the inform the User of the phone device to rob you in some way if you give them information of any kind. A Placement of such Numbers placed in a Trash Bin to inspect later if it is a new caller should work just like E-mail to handle such an event should be a means to program phone number to Cell phone as a trusted call. These Cell Phone now have downside, and everybody caught with it.

It looks like it came from our car dealer or the bank because it was on the credit application and that is the only place it was ever recorded. Both work and cell numbers. Shame on them!!!!

I found this #. No VM. Since I did not post my number online, I am left guessing that the cell phone carrier could have sold the number to marketeers. If that is true, then it's dishonest for them to do so. Otherwise, I don't know how they else they could have got the number. Do you think the "Do-not-call" list is really working?

I got a call from these people earlier today.  I don't answer out of area numbers because it is almost always credit card companies (they don't seem to understand that calling me isn't going to get me to pay my bill).  Now I wish I had answered, seems like it would have been fun to mess with them.

stupid problem here..they called early and did not leve msg and also i think they called our home phone...i too had recently contacted expedia..our numbers are unlisted...pain in butt/ very glad for your site as it is helpful

This number called my daughters cell phone twice in the last two days.

Just received another phone call from this number.  No voicemail.  Tried returning the call and got the same "all circuits are busy."  Judging from the abundance of comments here within the past 4 hours, it looks like this Warranty Company is really on a roll.
