Company called Pacifc Marketing (? I think, the gentleman was talking really fast). Told me I was approved for a $400 credit for their marketing services. (I assume their services are more than $400)
I told them I was not interested. He talked over me and asked how I did my marketing as they could help me. I answered I do my own marketing (ummm if you did research you would know that IS my business), and he asked how I knew their business marketing couldn't help me? I again told him I was not interested and to be taken off of their list. Again - he talked over me therefore I had to be rude and hang up on him. I HATE HIGH PRESSURE sales people who DO NOT LISTEN.
NO means NO.

Here's what I do...
Sound interested...
Say... Can you please hold on... Someone's at the door...
Then lay down the phone and walk away...
I figure, the longer they sit on the phone line, the less time they have to make their monthly 'quota', and less time they have to annoy someone else.

I have received about six calls from this phone number during the past three months. Each time there is no one on the line and after a few seconds, it clicks and hangs-up. I called the number and it is Pacific Rim Marketing. When I asked the lady why I am receiving calls when I am on the Do Not Call Registry, she responded that they 'must have missed it' and she will take me off their calling list immediately.
Go to the Do Not Call Registry and file a complaint (if you have your phone number registered of course) to stop their random and repeated calling.

Calls haven't stopped. Filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry and the FCC. Hopefully these jokers will finally understand I WILL NEVER do business with them as they are rude harassing scumbags.

Its Pacific rim Marketing. they try and sell you pens and a bunch of bs at high prices. I told them I could get them cheaper and they still try and sell more. There calls are getting old. They ask for me directly and when I answer I always say that I am not there.
James 2011-06-06 20:42:21 Unknown
I'm on the Do Not Call list. Why are these people trying to sell me advertising?
GJ 2011-06-06 20:42:21 Unknown
Yes. Unfortunately, because the Do Not Call laws are NOT being enforced even when numbers are being reported through the web site, this is a great way to frustrate the culprits and waste their time. Revenge can be so sweet.
Pass this info along to everyone you know.

Received a call.

Got a call from pacific Rim this morning and had the pleasure of speaking to "Tasha". She called and asked to speak to the owner by name. I asked her who was calling and she said "Tasha".
I then asked if she would like to leave a message for him and she said very aggressively,
"NO, YOU DUMB A**"! and then hung up.
Did some research, found this site, got their number off their website, called and asked to speak to "Tasha" with my eager self, got her on the line and gave her a piece of my mind (politely).
Called back to speak to a supervisor: first i got "Janie", then she transferred me to "supervisor Brianna" voice mail. Called back an I told her I want an on-site supervisor; transferred me to another gentleman, who then was hesitant to transfer me to his supervisor who "was to busy", so i told him to send me to his voice mail. Hello, I get Patrick Woods the owner on the line, says that is out of character for 'Tasha" and he would handle it. Yeah right!!!!
Judging by everyone's submissions, I'm reporting them anyway.....

I am glad Google is around . I did not recognize the area code so I did not answer and then came here. I read all the comments and then put the number in my id as telemarketer seattle so when it appears I just wont answer but I will be confident I am not losing business. that is how you handle these people. That way they never get you to answer and either give up or certainly only waste their time and not yours. No One has time to waste with this type of business these days. I have more technical knowledge than the administrators who work there. It is time the skilled take the control of the world back from the b***s*** artists.

I got a call from these guys today on my business line. They asked for me personally. As most, I screen my calls and act like an employee. When I said no one was in but I could take a message the lady said no thanks and hung up. Typical sale call.

Glad I'm not the only one that screens my own calls this way! The things we have to do to just get through the day to avoid telemarketers!

This number has repeatedly called me - called back and the "manager" was so unbelievably rude that I couldn't get a word in and she ended up hanging up on me. I then called their 800 number which went straight to the same "manager' and when I told her I was reporting her to the Better Business Bureau, she told me I was harassing her.

Good one! I will do that next time. Oh these people make me MAD! grrrrrrrrrr..................
;o)

Very rude man! About marketing. If they think they are going to get business with that fool, they should think again!!!!
Angie 2010-10-01 15:37:45 Unknown
Sure enough, they called again this morning. "Please take us off your list and don't call us again."

I finally answered one of these calls today as I noticed they were calling every morning on the caller ID. The guy who came on said he was with Pacific Rim. He asked for me by my first name and when I said it was she speaking, he hung up on me. What's with that? I am a one-person embroiderer. All I can figure is that someone sold my name to them since I buy a lot of embroider supplies on line and attend a lot of trade shows. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense!!!!

It's Pacific Rim - they've called a few times, always rude, this time it was "Greg". Asked for the boss, I said yes I'll transfer you "where are you calling from?" He started talking over me to people in the office about basketball and then hung up. When i called the number back I got a female receptionist, she transferred me, the transfer disconnected. Called back, transferred again, this time got "Greg" and asked to be taken off their call list. He didn't even wait for my number, said OK he had it and hung up. I'm skeptical.
Pretty lame, Pacific Rim.

I also have had a few calls from 206-861-7750. I went to their website and got their 800 number. I called them and a lady who answered the phone told me she would remove my phone number from their call list.
Their website is: http://gopacificrim.com/
Their phone number is: (800) 799-2605

A lady I could barely hear called. She claimed to have 1/2 price promo items and asked if I would be interested in key chains, business card magnets or pens. When I said I would need more info, she passed me off to a smooth talker named Mike DeAngelo: 800-799-2605 x 311 to reach him directly.
He went from pens @ .59 for 500 down to 250 @ .40 and when I still didn't bite, said he would waive shipping and graphics charges. I told him I would not purchase anything without doing my homework first. I told him he could try to call back tomorrow. Now I know about all the hassles so I wont be making a purchase from Pacific Rim. Thanks to all who posted warnings.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY TODAY. MY HUSBAND AND I OWN A BUSINESS BUT THEY CALLED MY CELL PHONE DIRECTLY AND ASKED FOR MY HUSBAND BY NAME. I TOLD THEM HE WAS OUT IN THE FIELD COULD I TAKE A MESSAGE AND THEY SAID NO THEY WOULD CALL HIM LATER. I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK A FEW MINUTES LATER AND THEY ANSWERED "HELLO" I ASKED WHAT THE NAME OF THE BUSINESS WAS AND THEY SAID "PACIFIC RIM". I HUNG UP. I AGREE THAT THEY DO NOT WANT TO TALK TO WOMEN FOR WHATEVER REASON. THAT PART DOESN'T BOTHER ME AS MUCH AS THEM TAKING UP MY TIME TO ANSWER WASTEFUL, USELESS PHONE CALLS.
