Caller ID as UNKNOWN NAME. Answered, but line was silence. Put the number into my call diverter box, so future calls will not ring but go to separate answering machine just for this purpose.

These people call me several times a day (logged in at up to 12 times one day).... the other end no one speaks.  How can I get info on who these people are and why they are calling me and how to stop them?  Caller ID says half moon bay ca and when I call back it tells me to log my ID and pound sign???????

Alice, that is exactly what has been happening to me at work.  Caller ID says Half Moon Bay Ca and when I pick up, no one speaks.  I call back, and it says to put in my ID # followed by pound.  I do nothing, and it hangs up on me.  This is ridiculous!  I would love to talk to somebody over there or find out how to make it stop.

Hey! Finally got someone on the other end of this call.  They said we had "won their ford explorer scatch game".  Also said it was Federal Financial Group.  I'm complaining loudly to the do not call list and suggest you all do the same.

After about 100 of these freakin' calls someone was actually on the other end.  They said my business had been listed to win a Ford Explorer.  I chuckled to myself, and asked to be removed from their call list.  Good luck

I've received AMNY calls and I am on the don't call list since it started.

I am so sick of these people calling starting at 8:00am, my husband works nights and I will file a complaint if I can find out where! I would love to call them @ there home and wake them up for NOOOOO reason...whatever they are selling I WILL NOT buy...If anyone knows how to stop this without getting more calls from people offering to help me for a fee...please post!!!!

Once, if not twice, a day our office gets this call.  The first time I got the call I googled the number on a whim and found that other people are getting the same calls.  This is very strange.  We don't answer it anymore when we see this number.

they call over and over and hang up; twice someone spoke - once a female and once a male; when i heard the female voice, i screamed at the top of my lungs into the phone and hung up - to no avail. the calls continue. how can we stop them? is there an agency that can get involved? isn't it illegal, harassment or something???

As other posts have listed. Numerous calls on all numbers at my office one right after the other.  I know this a solicitation because I one gave a fals name as a contact.....3 or more years ago. This false name has proven to be helpful over and over again as most solicitors refer to the fals name. Annoying calls over and ovver from this numeber but I don't know how to get rid of it. When I call this damn number back it says "please enter your station Id and press the # sign."

Hey guys--I called Level 3 Communications LLC and they advised me that they released this hellish number to Cingular Wireless in July of 2007.  Cingular was acquired by AT&T some time ago.  I called the customer service number at AT&T (800-331-0500)and told them my story of being driven insane by these people.  They could not confirm that that was a number they owned but suggested that I put myself on the Do Not Call List at www.donotcall.gov
It takes 30 days for that listing to be activated fully.  If you continue to get calls after 30 days is to file a harassment complaint with your LOCAL police department.  The police department in Half Moon Bay doesn't want to hear about it.  You are the victim so the complaint needs to be filed in your jurisdiction.  RIGHT NOW--start keeping a log of every call these morons make to you including date and time and whether there was a person or just the clicking.  This log will be necessary to document the harassment. I also believe that numbers coming in to your phone can be tracked by the police but you will show that you're serious if you have a substantive log.   Good luck to all you poor souls!!!    Cindy

They just called our place of business saying that they were Royal Chemical.    Put her on hold for a few moments then got back on saying that the owner was not available. Asked if this was a sales call and she got a serious attitude and said that she would call back. I told her not to bother and remove us from her calling list.  Sigh......

Maybe from the looks of it, they are a general soliciting center and they make a variety of calls for both business and residential.  Either way they suck!

sorry I meant 0155 on the last 4 - please help!!

I've been getting calls for 2 months...this is apparently a land line and the provider is Time Warner Telecom of California and yes, my research shows they are in Half Moon Bay which is in the county of San Mateo.  Of course, no one will help me stop this....my cell provider and TW of Ca claims they "can't" help me.  Does ANYONE have any ideas for finding out who this is?  I'm going to call the state police if I get one more call and file a harassement complaint!

I have been received at least 10 calls a day from this number, 650-276-0155. They never leave a message. I tried calling back and a message says put in the extension number or dial 0 for the operator. If you press 0 than it either hangs up on you or just rings. This is so annoying. But yes, I put this number in when I did the online insurance quote thing as wel. At first another number was calling and they left a message. Then aftere about 3 days of them leaving messages this other number started calling and after a week of calls they are still calling at all hours of the day.

Same as Mark, I've been getting two or three calls a days as well from this number and never any message.  Since my number is brand new, and I've only given it out once when I wanted some health insurance quotes, I believe this is an insurance agent.

I've been getting two or three calls a day from this number for over a week.  I've let the calls go to my voicemail, and no messages have been left.
