Ok, so the guy initially asked for HP Ink Jet Cartridges but now wants to buy Fluke testers, which we stock.  Def a scammer though right?  He keeps changing his name and e-mail address which is a red flag in my book.

I just received the same email, with a few small changes. The main changes are 1.) no telephone number, just a fax number, and 2.) John Murray is now Jo Murray (presumably short for Josephine).

I received the exact same message from him today. I figured it to be spam right off the bat because he types as if he does not speak English, but just thought I would put it into Google to see what happened. I have seen other similar emails, always offering to give their credit card information, so I automatically think that it's spam when they are worded in much the same way.

I received the following email from him today (4/7/09):

Hello Sales,

I will like to order the below HP INK JET or TONER CARTRIDGES.

PART NBR : OEM HP C6578AN  Inkjet Cartridge
PART NBR : OEM HP C6625AN  Inkjet Cartridge
PART NBR : OEM HP C9731A   Toner  Cartridge
PART NBR : OEM HP C9732A   Toner  Cartridge

I will await your utmost response on the price cost of the order
above,so i can get back to you with quantities needed if pricing is
favorable and also with my credit card details for the payment of the
order.

I received the same email from this John Murray as the above email. I wrote him back and told him to google his # and go scam someone else. There are way too many scam artists out there.

The below email is very similar to some that are reported under phone number 831-250-6030.
I emailed him back to let him know we do not supply ink cartridges. He reponded back asking for one of our products. It sounded really fishy that he would go from requesting one product to another like he did, so I googled his request and came up with one very similar to the the one he sent me on this website.
