This number called my cell phone on March 25, 27, 29, and 30. I never picked up and no messages were ever left. It has to be a scammer or telemarketer.  Don't ever give money to anyone who calls your phone!!  Reputable companies and organizations would contact you by mail, especially the IRS (as if the IRS has time to sit around calling people).  Good for the previous poster for asking for a callback number--that's a great way to test scams like this.

We got a call from this number and they said we were getting $10,000 from the IRS' "criminal branch," we just had to send them $200 dollar refundable deposit and $6 for processing. My fiance was ready to but I got on the phone and asked for the IRS number so I could set it up for the $206 to come out of my $10000 that was already being sent to me. Needless to say, when they didn't receive anything they started calling from 530 am until 10-11 pm.  I finally told them with their HEAVY accents,. that I called the IRS and there was no $ ever sent or ready to be sent. So, "Is this a scam?"  YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

they say we were approved for a loan and have taken $500 from me but say I will get this back, is this a fraud? If so, how do I get my money back?

I received a call from this number stating I had been approved for a loan and haven't applied for a loan, but they had all of my information...I don't know what to do...Very worried!! Any advice would be greatly appreicated.

I got a call from this number saying my loan application had been approved for 3000 with monthly pmts of 250 for 14 mths but then they asked me to go buy a green dot money pack and pay them the first pmt before they released my funds. Pretty sure this is a scam people don't do it
