January 28, 2009 A woman called saying she was from the police guild or union and could she send a package of information about protecting children by collecting fingerprints. I said perhaps, but I would have to check on the authenticity of the program because of the number of scams, etc. She hung up. I reported this to LFP police.

Someone asserting they were a police officer (probably true) & soliciting money for "My id club. org"
Probably legitimate.
