received a call from a woman with a very heavy accent which was difficult to understand.  I was unable to get the name of the company, but I did understand Directory Service and verification of our address.  I hung up without saying another word.  These types of calls are always scams.  Google this number and you will find other sites that list complaints similar to mine.  Do not verify anything as your conversation could be pieced together to make it seem as if you have agreed to a service.  The company will then send you an invoice and try to use the recording against you as proof you agreed.

This woman said she was with PR Weekly.  Tried to get me to confirm information about my company (she provided obsolete so I let it stay that way) and tried to get my name and title.  I told her no and that I could NOT confirm anything.  She then asked what time it was.  I told her that this phone conversation was very odd.  She hung up.

Rang and left no message, despite this number being on UK "do not call" list.

I got the same call and finally talked to a person with a strong unfamiliar accent.  They had called many times.  I informed the caller that as we spoke I was reporting the company to the "Do Not Call Registry".  The caller appologized and I hung up.  The strange thing is that the "Do Not Call Registry" complaint page would not accept the 207 183 0356 number when I tried to file.  I don't have any idea why it would not accept the number because everything was filled out correctly

Lady called asking for company info,asked for the time and asked my name.

Got the same call on Monday and now Tuesday.  The woman claimed to be from PR Week, which has tried to get me to subscribe to the magazine before. She clearly had access to basic info about my company, but I did not confirm any confidential data. When she called back the second time, and I pointed out it was the second time, she hung up without apologizing. That made me suspicious.

Woman was trying to obtain confidential business information and when I would not confirm anything proceeded to ask me the time(???).  I told her this call is very odd and she hung up.

some recording saying thank you for continuing to hold your call will be answered etc.....I hung up before she could say anymore.
