Ashleigh, please write a detailed description of what exactly happened. It will help others to recognize the scam and prevent them from falling for it. Also your name and phone will be sold to other scammers as a gullible victim so be prepared for other scam offers.

Just got scammed by this person but it was 850-329-8562, and "Daisy".... I am terrified that I may be further victimized with the information she has (my address, my phone number)... and now I am down $2000 right before christmas. I am really disappointed that I fell for this.

I received the same information that Samantha and Flor received. She wanted to meet me on Nov 10 at 6 pm at a McDonalds of my choice.  I received a couple of texts from her asking when it was ok for Craigslist to call me to verify who I was. There was a phone number that called me and hung up when I answered (the phone # was 647-710-3995) then I received another call that said they were from Craigslist and gave me a security code (that phone # was 415-366-0260) then she wanted me to text the code to her ASAP.  I haven't heard from her since then. I'm considering calling the police and filing a police report. This person needs to be stopped!

I too answered the ad about babysitting. I got a reply back that was TOTALLY DIFFERENT than the info in the ad. I reported her to Craigslist, and am thinking about passing her info on to the police as well. Hopefully, we can collectively get her her 'just dues'! What a sad, sad hustle she/he is trying to pull.

I fell even stupider for giving her my adress and picture!! I never go on craigslist but this time I did and fell for a scam. What should I do?? Is there any way of getting my email back

I got a full detailed text and email from her Lisa John who she says has a daughter who is in a wheel chair and that she is 5 yr old and that she is moving to San Diego November 10th but she did not say anything about expect for what she is paying me. She told me 480 a week. she says she lived in Portland Maine and that she is self employed and help people who deal with deaf people or something like that.

I JUST RECIEVED THE SAME EMAIL BUT THIS TIME IT WAS FOR HER SON,SHE SAID THAT SHE HAS HER OWN BUSINESS AND SHE IS MOVING TO TEXAS BY NOV.1 SHE NOW WANTS TO MEET IN PERSON.SHE GOES BY THE NAME OF     LISA     AND SAYS SHE HAS A SON,ALSO IN WHEEL CHAIR AND SHE WANTS IT DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE..... IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THIS LISA YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF.DONT THINK YOUR NEVER GOING TO GET CAUGHT BECAUSE YOU ARE.

Big scam .. I give all the information to the police !!

I got the same job offer just like the others did the lady claims that she needs a baby sitter to watch her little girl who claims that she need a wheel chair and that she will send the check to cover the wheel chair cost for the delivery and deposit for the amount of $650 for a week in advance so that she is sure that she has someone to watch her. We need to come together and get these people who waste our time and money and thinking that we have a chance people like that should be a shame of themselves and should be put away.

Hello I was wondering did this so called lady give you a pic of her and her girl and did she also say that she was hard of hearing I just want to know if this is the same person. also did you give this person any information and if you did how did you stop it. I also got an email from this lady name Jenny saying she needed me to watch her daughter and sent me a fake check this is a SCAM hope noone else fall for it whoever it is need to be put away in Jail taken people information its crazy

1-207-200-7514 and I have text each others about a babysitting jobs, which I later found out its a scam. Got me really mad. This people said she's from Portland.
